Battery Disconnect on F-53 battery

Morning, opinions on adding a disconnect to my chassis battery? Trying to avoid a dead battery again after storage. Everything was turned off. I got a mechanical switch, this won’t pop out on the road, correct?

Search for battery disconnect in HalfPrice’s jerry’s Hurricane Mods thread. Jerry found that the way Thor wired the emergency battery tie circuit between the Chassis and House batteries, you have to put the disconnect in the positive side of the batteries. I’ve got mine in the negative side and have the problems that Jerry describes. As I’ve put 200W of solar on the roof I no longer need to disconnect the batteries, and I’ve been too lazy to move the disconnect switch.

Thank you, I started reading and will continue. I connected it and for the heck of it, threw the switch and that damn thing still starts...

I put the dissconect on the coach batteries, and I plug in a solar maintenance charger in the cig lighter, which seems to be connected to the Chassis battery
