Sure looks good in the pictures. But... someone my size, two German Shepherds and a cranky wife. Maybe not so good?

There was a similar floorplanned Axis/Vegas unit with a rear "lounge" like that. Must not have sold that well as it doesn't exist anymore.

YOu might be best-served by a 45 foot diesel-pusher that is towing a 30 foot travel trailer...

Indeed? Is the travel trailer for the dogs or my cranky wife?

Im a big guy and I bought my 31E based upon how I felt sitting on the toilet. there would be no way I could sit and comfortably do #2 on that tiny toilet\room.

You just need to cut two "foot-sized" holes through the door...

Didn't sound very good to me.

So I've promised not to let Bob influence my (already poor) judgement ever again and to walk softly for the next few days. Geeze, I didn't realize that along with being grouchy, she had a lousy sense of humor as well.

You better go now and hide some snacks and something to read in that corner. I have this gut feeling you'll be back there soon. Interesting how all of our wives know who we are talking about when we mention "Bob said"....

It appears a perk of being friends with you makes the rest of us look like the normal ones.

Are you refering to the one below?

I think it’s a great idea to have a bedroom area that also serves as a spacious second lounge/living area, but it has to be done right. The Axis was not in my opinion. The couch was not comfortable, nor was the bed, and it took way too much work to convert from living to bedroom. A comfortable jackknife couch for seating, with a comfortable queen size Murphy bed stored against the back wall would be far better in my opinion.

Yeah that one, didn't have an old brochure handy at the time.

It didn’t do well as I recall — must have been one of first floorplans eliminated.

Most buyers want a real bed in a motorhome that size. The other Axis/Vegas floorplan without a bed didn’t do well either. A Murphy bed, or one that drops from ceiling, may be an exception. In these cases manufacturers can install a normal mattress, which should be more comfortable.
