Question Camco FW Hose Alternative

Has anyone found an alternative to the Camco fresh water hose (white one)?

I have this Camco fresh water hose that's literally a PITA to work with. You can't deploy it without it kinking a hundred times and rolling it back up is no fun either.

I have a flexible black tank hose (that's black) that easy peasy to work with, no matter the weather. It was given to me and has markings so I can't look for that brand. With the Camco, it has to be 100 stinking degrees out, with the hose sitting in the sun all day, to make it as easy to work with as my other.

I have a zero g also.
So easy.
I've switched over to an automatic reel, but I'm keeping the zero g as back up.

(I also use high flow quick connects on each end of the zero g)

I've been looking for a 3/8 inch polyurethane hose for a while now.
I have a couple 1/4 inch hoses for my air compressor that are great...easy to coil, hard to tangle, just great.....
and about 3/8 inch has about all the flow capacity I need for the rv, I figure...
I found the parts to put one together once, but would prefer 'factory' ends....

Best air hose I have found. Use them every day.

I've switched to this.
It's just living loose right now but will soon be taking the place of the shore inlet.
Has a self winder and a geared side to side so it won't stuff itself.

I just ordered a Zero G to replace my older white camco water hose. Looking forward to using it this June in Tombstone Arizona.

Are there any "downsides"; or adjustments needed when using the Zero-G hoses?
(Currently using Camco..,.)

Hi Bob
Everything I have read about the Zero-G hoses has been positive. Easy to store and use. Not sure how it would do in very cold climates. I do carry another shorter heated fresh water hose in the event I am out in the snow that I plug into a 120 outlet in order to keep the water from freezing going to the coach. I have electric heating pads on my holding tanks.

Paul

I purchased the blue ZeroG hose which is labeled for RV/Marine use. The gray is listed as garden hose but both are listed as drinking water safe. We have the blue in the MH and the gray at home. We like both of them. They are listed as non-kink but only after they are pressurized and kinks removed. They will kink when not pressurized and pressurizing does not always remove the kinks. They are about half the weight of a normal hose and take a lot less space.

Gray and blue versions?
I guess that the clean-out hose could also stand replacing too!
(In for a penny: in for a pound!
