AC or Propane

When plugged in power... does the furnace still use Propane if the Propane tank is on? Or should or could the The Propane tank be turned off and the Furnace still heat?

Furnace always uses propane for heat.

There are, however, some units that do heat when hooked up to shore power electricity or generator. Our Axis does not have that unit an only uses propane.

I'm guessing from the photo in your post that your size RV would have a standard propane RV furnace, therefore it will always require the use of propane to heat.

An alternative to using propane is a ceramic space heater. They are safe and can take the chill off an area up to 200 square feet pretty nicely, unless it is really cold.
