That created an interesting interchange as well.

Oh no! The dreaded 1/3 full fresh water tank thread.

Mine would be 2/3 empty.

True story: My dad had both "driver assist" and cruise control on a 1961 Ford Falcon wagon.

On our way to Florida (vacation) in 1963, my older brother sat on dad's lap and steered while I kneeled on the floor... pushing the gas pedal with my hand... instructions to keep the speedo needle on a certain number.

Life on the edge... just "boys having fun".

Fun fact... Dad's Monday morning back to work... about 200 yards from the house the left front wheel fell completely off the axle!

Back to the original topic...

LOL! Once in 6 years... Windy day in GA off 95. Early on this adventure.

I run with water tank full and even carry extra for multi day events. What good is waterless house if you are stuck in rest area?

We love our propane heater. Wife uses bmpro to adjust from bed. Camping once in Washington on coast all water at campsite was YELLOW no explanation. We switched to FULL tank

1/3 tank=1/10 logic.

The only time I turn mine off while underway is when traveling through the Chesapeake Bay tunnel then it’s required otherwise always on

Now that you have passed that Step, go for Step 2. Install simple Inverter you only need 1000 watts, connect it to your Norcold. Let the alternator provide he energy. You can have your cake and eat it too. Nothing to do with Thor's misguided safety warning. I have Inverter, but I don't hesitate to use Propane although if I am driving, it is because I forgot to turn on the Inverter. It ain't my fault though, it is because I am trying to drink those cold beers inside my Norcold getting my weight down

I know I am guilty of not following why anyone would connect to fill fresh water tank and ST at 1/3 tank for ANY reason

But last weekend, I am now guilty of pulling out my flowmeter; so I stopped at 1/3rd tank 25.9 gallons.

But I was trying to minimize weight. I am 280 lbs over the 23,000 guideline with 1/3 tank of water. So if I am flat towing in the future I may not be at Full Tank like I normally do. That would be about 360 lbs of extra weight.

This “warning” sounds like lawyer CYA stuff.
Are you plugged into shore power or are the house batteries enough to run it all night before you leave?

Mine (Norcold) when I had the generator running comes on, green light, the "A" and a drop/flame indicator along with the ***** for temp. Then a minute later, the lights go out except for the green power light.
I did purge the propane line by operating the stove. No error codes, no fuse indicator lights on the panel.

Plugged into standard 15 amp outlet in the garage.
