Christmas Time

It is that time of the year that I flash back to the time of being on foreign soil in the service of my country. Thousands of miles away from my immediate family but surrounded by my brothers and sisters in arms. I encourage each of you to remember in prayer and thanksgiving those that serve and are miles away. If you stood a post on freedom's frontier or simply appreciate those that have - remember. Each in service made a clear choice to serve, the clear choice that we at home can make is to remember in thanks.

I always do remember, having "been there, done that". No more than I can forget the three seasons of Grafenwohr.....Dust, Mud, and Ice.
May there be holiday blessings for all who serve to defend us.

Don, not quite as many Christmas in far away places but enough to appreciate your sacrifice. And to our other folks still serving and far away - God Bless.

Since 71 and 72 I have never taken another Christmas with my family for granted! My sons have not served but the day is certainly coming when one or more of my 10 grandsons will be.

May we never forget, or turn our backs on the ones that make it possible for us to have the freedom to even celebrate this great holiday.

Spent Christmas in Turkey, Germany, and UK. Family was with me in Germany & UK. We have many wonderful memories of Christmas markets in Nuremburg, Kaiserslautern, Trier, Kusel, and London.

We thank and honor the men and women serving in all corners of the world far from their loved ones and family in protection of our freedoms.
