Extend tv arm in class c while traveling

We have always moved our overhead tv back close to the side while traveling. On this next 3 day trip we will use as much as possible of the overcab bed area for storage. This makes it difficult to move the tv out when stopping for the night. Can we leave it out and put some boxes behind it without damaging the tv or the mounting arm.

I suppose you could do that, but inwould be concerned about using it to hold things on the bunk. Unless you have a different sort of swing arm that we have it doesn't seem the stress would be significantly different in either position.

If I understand your question correctly, I would be concerned about the leverage of the TV being extended when you hit rough roads.
