At one point there were just 7 sites occupied...


With four of them occupied by Tiffins.

Great pics! Being retired we are able to take short weekday trips to a lovely nearby state parks. Typically it’s sparsely populated sometimes even creepily so. I love it.

We are going to Cumberland Mountain State Park in TN first week of OCTOBER. We always arrive on sunday evening and leave Friday and the park usually is almost empty. Now the weekends are another story.

That should be a beautiful time of year in Tennessee.

Lived in Knoxville and Chattanooga several years and visited all the parks in a 150 mile radius

That took many years and there a large amount of really cool parks and campgrounds

Most are busy on weekends last time we were there so we usually get off the beaten path for the quiet

The colors varies from year to year but October is usually great somewhere
