Hitting the Road...

We are taking off for Yuma Monday morning (27th). This will be our 2nd year heading south. We enjoyed the travel and RV parks/resorts last year. Not to mention the beautiful blue skies! Getting away from our (almost) continually fogged in valley will help our sanity immensely! We will stay for the months of February & March.
Our future plans are to "get outta Dodge" right after Christmas. We are still working out the plan as I have an 84 year old mother here living in her own home. Wish us luck! See ya on the road...

We arrived safely in Yuma on Saturday the 1st after 5 1/2 days of travel. Our only issue was the relay that Powers the slide popped for no apparent reason. We started to pull out and didn't have a backup camera. No cabin lights or power to sensor readout panel either. Did a quick check of the easily accessible breakers and bird breaker in the battery box, all OK. My smart thinking DW said "let's check the little breaker/relay thingy under the bed". That was it. I need to make a quick access panel to get to it easily. Yuma is great! 75°, shorts & tank top weather! Yipee!

We will be in Yuma probably Sunday by way of Havasu and Parker and quartzsite.

Swap meet on Sunday, (hopefully) antiquing on monday, I'll place a Craigslist looking for some specific goodies(early 60's furnishings and decorations)
I think we're going to go by the Lake Alamo state campsite on the way home Tuesday or Wednesday.

Let me know if you're bored, maybe we can meet for lunch or something.
