I have the opposite problem — find it hard to find things I want to own.

That’s funny but no. When I want something, I want it my way, and don’t compromise on design or quality. I prefer custom designed stuff that suits me best. I tried to get an Axis 24.1 without the slide 3 times, but Thor said no. I’m not willing to compromise and buy stuff I don’t want. I’d rather do without than own something I don’t really like. I’m happier that way.

Well I've been avoiding this thread..hmm wonder why

Yup I have the pile of "for the camper" stuff that just didn't make it to the camper (a couple of tablets, some plumbing, some extra fat mat, etc.). Some ideas from here, some ideas off the top of my head. Even some screw-ups (bathroom panel anyone?) but in the end they all make the camper better or more livable (bathroom counter extension, better pooper gauge, USB chargers everywhere--last count I had 12 of them, recliners, etc.).

So far the recliners were the biggest expense (probably could have put 2 automatic leveling systems on for the price of the recliners + installation LOL).

Sigh... Where were you when I was still single?

We might have happily gone bankrupt together!

Enjoying the comments, but let me add some perspective. First, my DW is addicted to QVC, need I say more. Second, I'm leaving shortly to attend my fourth funeral in less than two weeks for close friends or their spouses. Why do without what you want, (assuming you can afford it)?

I get the feeling that even if it ended up like the Titanic did: it would have been an epic ending!

...And I've already laid in some "much-needed accessories" for the Golf Cart: that won't be here for another five weeks!

When you are all done buying everything, you sell your RV buy another one and start all over again.

Each one is just like a blank canvas: just waiting for a beautiful picture to appear!

It never ends..... I modify most of my rides but nothing compares to the amount of money I have sunk into this RV. LOL.

I had several goals in mind: make it handle better, quieter, more livable (Inverter + better batteries etc + AC cools better), and tons of small improvement and preventative maintenance, Wifi Ranger, we boost (for working), Window tint, + tons of other crap I thought I needed.

Just when I thought I was done with the big ticket items... Now I have "Hydro-level-envy". So now Im looking at the Big Foot Levelers for my Axis. Im just not excited about installing my self (so time consuming and ackward to install) but I cant see paying anyone for something I can do myself.

I'm sorry for your lose. This is one BIG reason we bought a new RV. I watched my Grandmother succumb to Alzheimer's. Watching my Dad now. I'm next, and I know it. I want memories NOW, a lot of them, while I still HAVE a memory.

I just say no! Does it work sometimes. Most of our stuff was gifts from casinos. We buy tp on sale bought 2yr supply when on sale for 6 bucks. We did splurge for recliners dumped the Jack knife. Next buy nice outside lounge chairs. She'll need a hotspot since next year she can work from home so I'm trying to convince her to go on the road.
