I agree with the signage being poor, but the other half is situational awareness. Knowing that you're parked two feet away from a curb in an obvious thoroughfare. It was obvious the person just pulled in and stopped without concern for others being able to transit through. Just because they CAN doesn't mean they SHOULD.

No coherence of the motorhome (not mine) possibly needing extra space to maneuver - or even the possiblity another motorhome could come in... and they're "parked" in the middle of the road. I chalk this up to an entitlement attitude.

I am sure that owner's view is that he or she spent $100k for that RV so they should be able to park there as long as they need. They don't plan to bother anyone, and if they parked with the other RVs, some Rif Raff may come to talk to them or worse steal something off their RV.

You need to be mindful that Entitlelist have feelings too. The feel as if People do not respect their right of Self Esteem by being treated Special by all whom they encounter. I am sure the RV Owner may have only planned to be there overnight, may have driven 2hrs before finding that spot and was very tired, it is also possible that RV owner only 4 or 5 Internet bars when parked there versus no bars or 1 bar in the area designated for RVs. Before you posted that picture did you take into account how much that RV Owner maty have paid to have some Internet system, and if he has to break some laws to be able to use, no one one should bother him. Besides his view is that the parking sign is for the Rif Raff, and working as he would expect so he has the space he needs

Look closer.
The rv has a truck parked on his left.

I wouldn't have even seen that stupid pavement writing
It wasn't a proper announcement of
No Parking.

Three more leaves on those words and they wouldn't be seen by anyone.

The lit looks full and the rv and truck appear reasonable.

There are three "trailer length" lanes and an access lane, which the Jeep is sitting in. The pic doesn't show clear perspective... and there's also a "no parking" sign on the curb not shown. The setup is similar to what you'd find in a rest area intended for RVs and larger trucks.

I've never asked for anything from Amazon before.
We ordered 24 chairs for movie nights and our parties.
About 1/3 of them were obviously hand held before putting them on the paint rack and the paint peeled off of the unseen under seat cross braces. About two hand widths caused I have to assume by hand oil, leaving bare metal.

As deemed by amazon I typed in my phone number on the contact request(honest to god they called me back in less than a second) I said I'd like an acknowledgement and a bit of recompense instead of sending back 24 assembled chairs at that huge expense to whoever pays for it.

She said, and I had no idea this was a thing;
'The chairs are not eligible for return'
But
I will refund you $193.'
From what she was looking at on the screen this must have been the total for one of three orders(I don't know why amazon broke my singular order into three orders but they did...shipping maybe?) and she refunded me the entire amount of the order she saw on her screen.

Easy.
Four minutes tops on the phone.
I just wanted a free order of 4 chairs they could write off or $50 or so.
She said she couldn't give me less or give me the chairs.

I'll use the refund to order more chairs from the same seller

So easy.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07T4...b_b_asin_image

Great stackable chairs.

In my normal ineloquent fashion I typed a lloooonggg bit of rebutt(about a comment in another thread) and then have removed it from this thread.

I finally was able to swap tv's in the bedroom.
Thor had mounted the TV
THEN
assembled the drivers side wall.

The mount requires the TV to slide to the side by about half a TV width
And
The wall was in the way.

I busted off a couple of tabs(ten inch long needlenose pliers) and slid it toward the aisle.

Our last trip the axxera blew out a speaker and sounded like holy hell.
So I bought a $97 fire TV.

Now we have
Just one remote
No roku(i could but we no longer watch their specialty channels)
Fire TV controllable by our echo(that's Alexa's real name)
1080hd(I did not 4k for the extra $100. We usually watch 1960's TV stuff)
Screen mirroring so we did away with the phone to TV hdmi cable.
Voice control
Live TV
A two minute local channel search instead of a six minute search.
Great sound(though a surround system is cheap enough and might get added)

Best $97 spent of maybe the whole year.

The axxera will get put in to my 1963 TV console. A 32" TV is just the right height to replace the old 25"(?) and formatted to square.
Sounds will be ran through the tube amplifier.
It'll play a loop of shindig and hullabaloo series.

While I had my TV mounting kit on the bench I mounted an old old dumb TV to a tool cabinet using the old axxera mount from the over the door TV. Two things out of storage and put to unreasonable and silly use.

When using Miracast, devices can connect via Wi-Fi Direct, which establishes a direct connection between the sending and receiving devices without needing a wifi network to facilitate the process.

That's an ai answer.

I've never had to swap wifi connections for it to work on my androids.

I don't know miracast from a football bat so I don't know if miracast is standard android stuff.

On that TV I just bought
Menu
Sources
Mirroring
Ok
My phone screen just hooked up with no further actions from me.

On my phone
Smart view
Click
List of tv's showed up
Clicked the new TV called 'rv bedroom'
My phone screen was on the tv.

If you remove a picture tube, do so carefully. Remove it and set it face down on a blanket. Remove the end exposing the glass seal in the center of the leads. Carefully snip the end of the seal with wire cutters and allow air in removing the vacuum. I have changed several large picture tubes and did many repairs to older sets. Not a hard job, but a quick imploding tube is dangerous. Another way is to set it into a dumpster and clime up a tall A ladder. Drop a heavy sludge hammer to break the neck. I have seen this done twice. I preference clipping the glass seal. Do not stand in front of the picture tube just in case!

The tube is out and long gone.
I suspect it weighed 30lbs.
I tried to get the glued on cover off so I would still have convex cover in the spot where the tube went(further hiding the flat screen replacement)but it wouldn't budge due to whatever frit they used to fuse it to the tube.

The Implosion wasn't much.
I expected something pretty cool.
Just a
Fooomp
Sound indistinguishable from the sound of it hitting the dumpster bottom.

I have to cut some internal braces so the TV will fit end to end. Top to bottom is already done from about three years ago when I started this project but side to side requires speaker removal which requires contortionist moves.

No one cares about this project but me and I'm trying to get rid of things in the behemoth that take five minutes to explain why they're cool instead of adding to it(as this console will when I have to explain to the past three generations what the hell shindig is).

https://www.thorforums.com/forums/sh...1&postcount=30
Pics of console. It works perfectly.

I'll be better off tossing the worthless axxera and buying a new 1080 for $100 when I'm ready to complete the console so I won't have to store a $5 dumb 480(i assume) tv.

Ok, you've convinced me.
I'm tossing the axxera after I pull the lens and diffuser panel off of it.

At the bottom of the page today there was a link to a campground review. Something about it made me click. I rarely stay in campgrounds to begin with and there was very little about this one that appealed to my sensibilities. Nonetheless, out of morbid curiosity, I checked its website.

$90-$115 per DAY??! (For a 3 month stay)

Who is crazy enough to stay at places like that?

Not sure what campground, but if it is Disney World, a man that has excessive quantities of kids might reserve a campsite for a few months to bring in all of his kids and Exes on a schedule through-out the summer. It also would allow for one with no generator to run his AC off SP continuous

I bought this to control the fan and housing I'm making for my dc to dc charger.
I'd did not know about the heatless units when I bought the dc to dc.

It will also control
Dash fans
Overhead vent fans
Heat pads for batteries or tanks.
