Ahhh... okay, we’re down in Gold Canyon, south-east of Phoenix/Mesa...

Superstition Mountains are just to my north. Well, that’s for roughly 7 months of the year any way. Right now we’re in South Eastern Minnesota for the summer..

First real stuff from the greenhouse..
I've picked stuff willy-nilly but no meal until tonight.
Our version of a caprese.

My home grown
Basil
Cherokee purple tomato
Cayenne chile
Garlic (just a rub on the knife used to cut the tomato)
Mozarella(bought the milk)
Not my pinons, my trees have slept the last few years.
Not my balsamic, I tried, I failed. But this is much better and older. (I keep sipping balsamic at my bar for non-drinkers)

Lettuce crop from last years homegrown seeds. Second generation homegrown.
Lots of salad tomatoes next week, then a gap between tomatoes and lettuce crop.

I planted potatoes again today. Second generation (the flowers didn't produce seeds, I buy seeds soon)

I'm pretty sure I'm going to like growing trees more than I am liking growing chow.

I'm impressed, is the tomato a hybrid or a heirloom? Since we're locked down we're playing with a small greenhouse for herbs and peppers and heirloom tomatoes. We're not going anywhere so might as well entertain ourselves

Very nice!

I just happened to notice your Avatar and think I see a lockout hub!
Then I see in your header - AXISSIXxSIX

Have you already gone into any detail on this? Where? You have piqued my interest!

Advanced 4x4 in salt lake city did the rv work.
They make the Yellowstone winter vehicles and antarctic support vehicles so I figured the knew what to do. No contract, no deposit, just a handshake.

I dropped it off, made a few suggestions they had never thought of, had them implement the two which were practical, and picked it up two weeks later. FORD WARRANTY ON THE PARTS. The only custom part in the whole set up is the front brake rotors. It now sits 4 inches higher. I was going to have deever in santa Ana CA make me some rear springs but the lift blocks are doing just fine.

Some of the other conversion places are real butchers. Two forum members had 'lifts' put on their c class and it was done by bending parts and reinstalling them.

For flat front motorhomes I know there's an older big unit used for beach stays, a little winnebago siesta or whatever they're called, and mine. I've done a perfunctory search and found no other. Just three of us any where that aren't some monster truck hack job meme.

No lockers yet, they were on back order and I didn't want to wait. I figured I'd get it stuck once or twice and then have someone put in the e-lockers.

It's for festival parking and soft shoulders and such, not for offroading.
And
Here's a picture of my driveway(that's a 12%grade) and the type of mud we have.
My Arizona weather is probably closer to Vermont winter weather. Had a frost June 30th-ish, just a couple of weeks ago. That 46° is inside the greenhouse we are 31° at the house back porch.

This works so nice.
Battery.
Set the pressure you want, walk away, it auto shut offs.
$99 with two 4 amp batteries and a charger and a very nice square carrying bag and free shipping
Type in
Ryobi days.

It's pumping away while I got a drink and am typing this. No hands.
It just now cut off... Silence.

Very nice on the 6x6 Duck! That’s a long and steep driveway and I’m very familiar with the mud as we have it down south as well. Turns into concrete when dried. Caliche mud is what I’ve known it to be.
Neat little compressor... I carry one that runs off of the vehicles battery when offroading.

What kind of fab do you do?
I have just about everything anyone could want, but I'm lookiing for someone with a cnc. Plasma or water jet to cut me some logo-ized metal plate.

I'm capable of fab work, I don't do it except as a ncccesity because I don't have anyone up here who'll participate.

I don't think I've ever posted the weather app we use.
This is the
RadarNow Android app.
It plays live on our 10" radio screen.
Live weather radar which follows your location.
Saved us big time last year as we were dodging storm cells and tornados by getting off of i40 and hitting little farm roads that could skirt around the storms.
We have it set on about a half hour loop. It shows the last half hour as movement so you know where the storm is headed. Its ssssooo much nicer and informative than a static display.

I do racecar and streetrod fabrication. I don’t have any CNC gear at all - Along with mill, lathe, and drill presses I just have cutters, grinders, sanders, welders, tubing benders etc. ... Enough to get me in trouble anyways..

Stoopid Ipad will only let me upload 1 photo at a time. Here’s my 33 Ford “Bugsy”...
Edit - was able to add 1 more of my old GT40 Ford

Battery powered pressure washer.

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sour...bIAnBSYqAu8kfb

I love this thing.
Just the right amount of pressure, load a five gallon bucket with soap(or hook it to a hose)then switch to clear water. I haven't checked yet to see if it foams like a foam cannon.
Very very practical for a MotorHome.
I've read, half-assed, a 2 liter bottle can be adapted for real portability.
I. Have. So. Many. Ryobi. Chingaderas....

I am wondering about diesel and burning brush piles.....

I got it for free. It's ryobi days. 99bucks with two 4amp batteries and a charger.

Planted celeriac today.
Celery Root Remoulade is a favorite of ours. Will try roasting one also.

I havent seen a celery root worth bringing home from a grocery store in ten years.
They might be ready by Thanksgiving.
Gardening requires far more patience for far less value than I expected. I knew what the packages said, I didn't relate 120 days to, well, 120 days.
I Have arugula that's pushing two months old and is the size of my little finger. The Raddichio never came to a head. Bushy and green, I might try the loose leaf on the grill....

But the good news is with the harvest yesterday I was able to amortize the tomatoes and lettuce down to $1,000 per pound.

Bill, you beat me on the tomatoes. The cost of imported Colorado River water has made growing them out of reach.

As to the Ryobi tool... after your glowing review I googled Ryobi Days, found the promo flier. "Buy this here 4.0AH battery 2 pack kit and get a free tool". It even sez to look online at homedepot/ryobi. Only thing is, after an hour plus searching the site by name and number for the kit, I called their online help number. "No sir, that's not available online, not available for delivery and it's not in stock at your local store or anywhere in 100 miles.

F'n Bait and Switch again.

Jerry, go get 'em!!!

In the rv I carry their:
Flashlight
Drill
12v charger(I won't need it now that I have an inverter)
120v charger
3gallon wet dry vac
And their very nice tire inflator that you lock the chuck to the valve stem, set your required pressure on the inflator... And walk away. It turns itself off at your preset choice of pressure.

I do not baby the tools and I've only burned out two. An 18v chain saw that lasted about 20 minutes, but the two chainsaws I have now are doing fine, and I think the other was a brand new Sawzall a friend borrowed and smoked out.
Hundreds of hours maybe a thousand, no problems.

Can you post what air compressor you use. I have been looking for what you described for my Hurricane 32A. Thanks

It's posted in post 368,about 8 posts up from here.
It's the ryobi sitting on the ground in The posted picture.
https://www.ebay.com/p/2177342056?ii...8aAp-bEALw_wcB

But
It's free with the 99 dollar purchase of two 4amp batteries, a fast charger and a carry bag(which the inflator fits in perfectly along with a charger and battery) at home depot right now for ryobi days. That's how I got mine an couple of years ago. Free.

There's an 'open box' option in that ebay site above for 59 bucks.

It ssssoooo nice. Set the pressure and walk away it stops when the pressure is set.
My rv came with 12v air pump and a 110v air pump, I have an extra 12v chassis mount pump and 5 gallon tank that came with another vehicle and I carry a converted 120cft scuba tank in my offroader, and I have a five gallon and an 11 gallon portable air tank scrounged from yard sales, but the inflator in the link is my go-to in almost all situations.
And it fills and deflates air mattress type things.

Requested pictures of a 10.1 radio head.

Info about the added usb/12v outlets is somewhere a couple or three pages back in this thread.

Edit:
I just went and took a look to see if they could pique another 100 bucks from me.
All the links are busted. I couldn't get close to the list of items and any site I had been on prior has changed to just a brochure or just a scramble of stuff.
It wasn't supposed to be over until 8/2 but I guess they're out of goodies.
Man, those pages are jacked up worse than the usual home depot page mess.

The ryobi days stuff comes and goes daily.
Sometimes there's fifty different free items sometimes four and now, sometimes there's none.
