Lots of hammers
Even a silicone(made from a tube of type 1 silicone)
I have a paper hammer here somewhere.
Now THIS is a deadblow hammer.
You smack a log during a log home build with this. 13" log stays smacked when this hits it.
Damn auctions.
$15 deadblow and 18 acres of storage.
Bonus picture.
$8 brass steam whistle,

Have you ever been to the hammer museum in Homer Alaska? You will see hammers that you never thought of.

Spousal Unit just left in our 24.1 for the North rim of the Grand Canyon.
It's opening day allowing hiking to the bottom from the North side.
Bonndocking until she gets a standby pass, then two days in the Canyon then 2 days boondocking.
A week and about 500 miles.
5'2" 63 years old, 115lbs she's wrangled the 24.1 in side-winds requiring a constant 60to90° steering wheel pull.
She's commented, but never has complained, about the way the rv does the RV thing.
Full to overflowing fresh water tank.
Full propane.
Full gas.
Spare tire/rim with correct air pressure with all the tools(and THREE roadside assistance programs).
Headlights set on auto-off so they're on if the ignition is on.
Maps running on the phone to alert of crashes and backups
4wd ran through the positions.
Tow straps accounted for.

I love this stuff and its special scrubber.
Best I've found non-petroleum bug remover.

Before i buy some, have you tried it on grasshoppers?
I have a couple "special " bug sponges
Haven't tried Scubas magic elixir yet either
Looking like shorter, bugier trips this year

I left our last bugs on there for two months and they came right off.
It has a bit of an
Olil Eater brand
odor to it, which I guess are the enzymes.
So my guess is it melts the oil of the bug allowing it to glued off the paint.
No guess about grasshoppers specifically.

If I send you my address, can you come to my house and help me organize my garage? I've got this many tools but no where near this level of organization! I can hook you up with power and electric, lol

That's
The Wall Of Shame.
Its the tools I had to aquire for ONE job, like we all do combined with $6 mag 77 yardsale circular saws and such.
They used to live in barrels and bins as all of us keep such, but a craiglist ad for 100 sheets of slatboard at $10 a sheet had me buying 25 but I only used 6. Others were given away or buried as bases for the water tanks.
Paint, chrome strips, a day or two, Craigslist slat board hooks, done.
It's all on display as a kind of lending library thing. You can borrow whatever you need for YOUR one time type job, but if you have something you don't use and there isn't one on the Wall, bring it over for everyone to have access to it.
But
I'm of an age to be rethinking a bit.
Everyone now knows if they enter the garage, they're Damn well taking something home from the garage. I think my last thor forum visitor landed one of my four or so of my $5 yardsale ryobi 18v impact drivers.
And
I'm getting tired of spending 10 minutes explaining why my Lloyd Bridges original package dive marker or a carbide lamp attached to a 1930's baseball cap is cool. Cool is relative and most of my cool things are somehow labor related and labor isn't an everyday thing to most everyday people.

i have the sister to that husky.
Spousal unit went through a phase of wanting toolboxes to store her sewing stuff so I inherited the husky and a few others she didn't want.

I thought we might barter a bit:
Up for trade items in the pictures.
If you collect anything in particular, I might have it.
I'm starting with:
obscure, the celluloid purses
Well known but limited, the steam engine
Well known and coveted, the all member Autographed Van Halen album.
Nope, I have no idea what I want to trade for.
Hit me.
No sales. Only trades.
They'll be open and in this thread for the entertainmnet value.
They havd No monetary value to me so don't think you have to value match up or down.

Today it cost me $75 to drop off 600lbs of garbage at the county transfer station.
And I had to sort it and listen to them whine about a metal rod attached to a wooden board.
Ridiculous.
Someone infirm, having to have their yard cleaned is at about $500 a truck load with labor time and fees,

On that same vein
Took my 80 gallon water heater to the recycling site
Charged me 10 because it was an 80 gallon
50 gallon heaters 5 dollars
They remove skins/controls, split them, and repurpose as troughs
Everything here gets looked at except trees
Grass and yard waste is composted on the other side of town
So either two trips or pay twice
Sure is different

I'm prrrrettttyyy sure paper maps and dedicated gps units can't do this.
This is the Spousal Units route today from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon(just 52 miles from my place...in a straight line) to flagstaff, her lunch stop before coming home.
Each dot is a time/speed stamp.
It's so accurate I can tell, in real time, which lane she is in when travelling and to within a foot when she's walking or at home,
Life360 app
It's free.
