Had to adapt a snow blade to the Polaris ranger yesterday and other snow related caaaarrrrrapppp today. I used my CAD system(cardboard aided design) to make some brackets and spacers.
Snow is chest deep in a few places and 17 inches everywhere.
So I'm not diddling with the Pac for a while.
It's a 2021 limited(with every possible option except the s trim)luxury white(or whatever,that,light light,gray is called) with that awful alloy silver(ish) interior.
We stole it. $35k otd plus our 10 year old king ranch. It monroni'd at $58k plus the ceramic window tint all around plus windshield. All the protective film was still on the chrome and displays. No one had travelled in any seat but the drivers.
There's a Pacifica Hot Wheels. It'll look like that.

Are these off the shelf parts or you're doing everything custom?

I have a Antigravity Batteries Micro-Start PPS XP-1 plugged into the 12v socket in the back of my Cherokee for at least 3 years still shows charging.
However I have NOT had been required/needed to try to jump anyone in that time.
I know it worked well before I put it there.
(Worked every time to jump Honda Goldwing that would drain the battery if I didn’t ride or plug in, excess low voltage drain.)

Journey Off Road in Prescott AZ is Who makes the lift. $600ish lift, $750ish install(I'm smart enough to do the install, which makes me smart enough to have THEM do the install, and we live within 100 miles of them so....).
Flares are Amazon. If they fit I'll post a link.
Wheel spacers are Amazon. (I'm not skeered of spacers)
Light bar is a curved cheap Amazon. I have 6 of them on different vehicles, no failures.
I'll build the grill guard but look up 'pacifica bull bar'. Chrome is $350ish, black is $109(?).
Spare carrier is hitch mount RV unit.
I'm only building the grill guard and the tow hooks/hitch mount.

All wheel drive.
An excellent system that thinks/works well.
Turn off the the traction control and other stuff, don't puss the pedal, and it'll get out of trouble.
I carry a yankum rope and soft shackles. Soon I'll decide which tire socks to buy.
We're going to treat it as we would the other 4x4's here.
The kr had a hard, painted to match(very pretty)tonneau cover which made its 5ft bed just pain to use.
The Pacifica, like my avalanche, allows for 4x8 plywood sheets and 10ft sticks with the tailgate closed.
It's more of a truck than our truck was.
We all know how I feel about arbitrary tow/weight limits deemed by junior engineer cube-dwellers.
It'll be up there with the big boys in towing/carry when I get done with it.

Utterly off-topic (although there is not topic to this thread), and yet possibly slightly on-topic to the idea of stranded EV folks, I was parking lot surfing (for reasons too convoluted to get into here) at a Lowes store in Phoenix the other day.
Saw a man -- about 75 years old -- using a shopping cart as a makeshift work bench in the parking lot. He was trying to saw several large pieces of rebar by hand with a hacksaw while his wife held the cart from rolling.
I went over and told him I have an angle grinder and generate plenty of power from all my solar panels to run it right there in the parking lot. So we wheeled his makeshift cart-bench over to my motorhome, I got out the angle grinder, and made short work of all that rebar wile he measured and told me exactly where to cut.
He offered to pay me but I told him it cost me literally nothing. An appropriate payment would be for him to just do a favor for someone else when an opportunity presents itself.

I think i posted about this last year.
A 19ish year old girl, 4'11" and maybe 300lbs, perfectly round, had sideswiped a a big rig tire. The whole driver side of her fiesta(ish) car was blackened and smashed. I broke out the ryobi sawll I had and cut out her fender so she could roll. She passed me on the i40 about 20 minutes later doing about 90mph.
It's nice to have the tools and time to help others.

RV joke
A husband and wife who work for the circus go to an adoption agency looking to adopt a child, but the social workers there raise doubts about their suitability.
So the couple produce photos of their 50-foot motor home, which is clean and well maintained and equipped with a beautiful nursery.
The social workers are satisfied by this but then raise concerns about the kind of education a child would receive while in the couple’s care.
The husband puts their mind at ease, saying, “We’ve arranged for a full-time tutor who will teach the child all the usual subjects along with French, Mandarin, and computer skills.”
Next though, the social workers express concern about a child being raised in a circus environment.
This time the wife explains, “Our nanny is a certified expert in pediatric care, welfare, and diet.”
The social workers are finally satisfied and ask the couple, “What age child are you hoping to adopt?”
The husband says, “It doesn’t really matter, as long as the kid fits in the cannon.”

Good one, Scuba. Raised the age-old issue. Is honesty always the best policy to attain your goals?

Charging now.
Of the three I have, one needs a new $36 bms board.
My phone isn't recognizing their Bluetooth and the app won't work on my phone. I'll try a different phone.
One more battery is loaned out right now for a total of 4 batteries I have.
So far I'm in them $130.
They're all from the same lot, have sat a long time. They're charging now. We'll see how it goes.
I had 4 redodo in my Amazon checkout when I got these instead, $2,900 possibly saved.

Duck one thing to try is to jumper 12V from a known good battery onto the one with the questionable board then with the jumper battery hooked up hook up the battery charger. This is what I have to do if the ones I have go dead. Hooking up the charger alone will not wake it up. It has to have a solid 12v going to it.

I'll try that.
The case welded shut if your idea doesn't work I'll have to multitool/vibrasaw it open.
The good part a out opening it is if it's easy to do, I'll open all four of them and build one or two big battery that will fit in the 24.1 pass through that goes from right to left front bins.

My sound insulated intake is installed. This may accomplish nothing. If not it's just an hour and $5 in material. Hopefully it negates some whoosh sounds.
The Fram filter let the clamp close easily(and often as I maligned/aligned the intake snorkel).
The refractory cloth and other insulation has to wait for warmer days so the glue sets correctly.
The Fram tip-off was a gift from those of you who suffered before me.
Thanks.
