Lake George RV Park

Hi Guys!
We've made our first reservations for 2018: Lake George RV Park, for Memorial Day weekend.
During the reservation process: we got to fill in what sort of site we wanted, pay them for it, and wait for the reservation number to come back in an email.
(Semi-shaded, and a pull-through...)
My question: Does anybody know when they'll actually tell us what site number we'll have?
(We're curious, and want to look it up on their online map! )

Great looking campground. We've found that ofter the large parks will assign an area of the park (which I think this one does) and are very slow to provide an exact spot. We generally travel to these type parks with grandkids that like the activities. So the trick becomes an area that is close to pool, etc but not to close for noise. This site also has a video that talks through the site assignment process.

Enjoy!!

I was planning to call them this next week (when they're open for call... )
I was just wondering if anyone else in here had stayed there, and had some insight for us...

UPDATE: It turns out that they assign you to a particular site once you show up and register...
I guess that I just have to NOT lose my confirmation number during the next (almost) seven Months!

Yep - one of the things that I have become a bit OCD about are confirmation #s, dates and paid status. We are often gone for 2-3 months at a time, changing campgrounds frequently on summer vacations with grandkids. I always seem to have a bit of a panic just before we leave out. Wind up printing, recording in electronic calendars, copying directions, etc just before we leave out. In 42k+ miles in the last few years, we've only had one oops.

I do that with all our trips RV or not: Plug in all the schedules, itineraries, conf #'s, etc. into the online calendar then they are all in the same spot and it pops up at the appropriate time.

I am glad to know I am not the only OCD RVer. :-) I have yet to leave out and not have at least one panicked moment.

While it's good to know that I'm not alone... I feel sorry for you guys!
If I'm not the most anal-retentive human on the Planet: I've probably got a list here of anyone who rivals me! (And that list is alphabetized, sorted by location, dates of birth, nationality, eye color...

This sort of hobby (or lifestyle) is probably best-served by having an acute attention to detail disorder...
