AC unit on house power

Hello all. I have a 2019 Freedom Elite 22fe. Before trips I always, with an adapter, plug in to the electricity of the house to turn Fridge on so that it's cold and we can put things in it ahead of time.

But I was wondering if I can use the AC the same way. By being plugged in to house power. I have a unit on roof. Turns on and off with knobs. No thermostat. It's a small unit.

As long as your electrical amp draw does not exceed the circuit you are plugged into. For instance if your plugged into a 15 amp circuit, and your AC draws 12 amps, and your fridge draws 2 amps you can safely run those two on your RV plugged into that circuit, but not much else.

My ac runs OK on a 15amp circuit with the standard 110v/propane fridge running.
Not much else though.

You'll want Cavie or someone like him to weigh in on this thought.

Check the plug at the receptacle once in a while to be sure it's not running warm/hot. I'd just brought my coach home and proceeded to clean it. I was running my A/C while that was going on. A few hours. It was a 30A breaker with 220 and and 120 at the breaker box. When I went to unplug the cord, it was hot to the touch. It never threw the breaker so I'm not sure what the deal was but I suggest you babysit it for a while to make sure you don't burn down the rig or the house to the ground.

I used to run the A/C and Fridge in MT Outlaw from a 20 amp outlet: no trouble at all!
