Omni Magnitude RV input

We are purchasing a 2021 Thor Omni SV34, i had a hard time finding direct answers on the noise inside the RV while traveling down the highway, we rented a 2020 coachmen leprechaun 270qb and while the kids sat in the back they couldnt even hear the TV on the loudest volume while driving. Can anyone else input on this, are you able to talk to people in the dinette? As far as price we got them down to $160k is that a decent price, or can we squeeze them some more? Thanks in advance!

I have an XG32 Omni and compared to our previous 2 class c's, It's pretty darn quiet. The biggest advantage is not having that gas engine sitting right next to you.
As far as price, doesn't seem bad what are other dealers wanting for the same unit?

I have a 2020 SV34 and the F-550 is defintely much quieter in the cockpit than a Class C E-450.

I can't say how noisy it is in the back. My sense is it is quieter than the Class C but it isn't a luxury car quiet.

Now if you want the kids watching TV, you will need to bypass the safety switch that prevents the cab-over TV from working when driving.

As far as price goes, given the market I would say that is a decent price. It is technically a left-over now that the 2022's will be hitting dealer lots but I would say it is a fair price.

Other ones are around $175k if you can find them.

2021 has the new drivetrain, so the 2022 really has no difference to me. Bypassing the switch is no issue. The color is what we want on the outside and coudnt find another one. Most of the other ones already have deposits.

You will pay a premium now due to low supply and high demand and then will take a hit when the market correct. Don’t plan on being above water for quite a few years.

What number is a premium? Im not going to wait for 3 years for them to drop, i think $160 is a good deal, i was asking what everyone else paid for their 2021 and up omni or magnitude rvs?

I think $160,000 is a good deal for that model and year. If I were still seeking the Magnitude/Omni, I would purchase at that price.

If they make the bunkhouse on the F600 chassis (the rumored FS36) I might buy one yet.

In my opinion $160k is a good deal in today's environment. I negotiated $171 for my XG32 but that's OTD. OTD can be much different than the starting price before they add all the fees. One thing that helps me is my sales tax, Alabama rate for my address, is 3.01%. They agreed to the $171 which also included 2 additional 6v batteries. How they jockeyed the figures to arrive at that was fine. No trade in.

I have some drives under our belt now so I'll address the noise issues. The booth table vibrates and we're working to quiet it down. Lowering onto the bench seats helps but then the table top squeaks against the vinyl cushion. Some lubricant on the table hinge parts helps. We have the cabinets packed securely so not much rattling around there. The roll up window shades can bang/click against the widow frame so some may need to be raised. There are random pops and clicks that we haven't determined. She did crawl back once and said the bedroom was kind of noisy on par with our DP.

As far as driving, up front relatively quiet. We can talk easily. Very manageable engine noise and wind noise around the hood/overhead/etc. not a problem.
