The regulator is external to the grill. It is part of the gas cannister hook up. I can't figure out how to attach pictures.

I looked at a Weber Q2200. Seems like a quality little grill. But the Vector Smoke Hollow...well...it also smokes, but I've never known anyone who used one. They seem to get good reviews, though.

I need suggestions for a small, compatible stove that is ready to use with the RV's quick connect propane connection.
You have until June 1st to respond! Just kidding.

Heard great things about the Coleman portable grills

Zita and I went for the Volcano 3 grill, a 3 in 1 gas, charcoal and wood grill. It's heavier than most grills but packs into a 5" case.

Love my Volcano 3!

I know these used to come with Thor motor coaches. Anyone like these? We are needing a small grill that's easy to clean, works on low pressure and won't rust.

I had trouble deciding also. Till I found this...Blackstone Tailgaiter. Best of both worlds Grill and Griddle. Easy setup (about 5 min). The Grill box and Griddle come off separately and if you don't put the grill box on there is a huge burner to boil a large pot of water. Corn? Lobster!!!

Looks good but I would not want to attach a grill to the side of my RV.

I agree. I bought the Q1200 and bought a conversion kit on Amazon. Works GREAT! I missed grilling food after 4 years.

Very cool looking. But what is the size of that. As a full timer it might be a bit bulky to travel with.

Its not tiny. but its really not that big either. Put together its about 52 x 24 x 38.5 inches and weighs about 70 lbs. But it's in 3 pieces and no one piece is heavier than the steel griddle which is about 30 lbs, i guess the grill box is about 20lbs and the stand with burners, legs and what not is about 20lbs. The legs collapse into themselves then fold under . It takes me about 7-10 min to set up and be ready to cook. But you do need some storage space for it and I'll be going full time in Novemberish so I guess I'll find out!

For us, that same 2 burner Coleman, plus a Weber grill is our set up.
Each has its own LP gas regulator.

This may not be how you want to work it, but we tote along a separate portable tank.
We made connection modifications and teed them to work both, or separately, as we need them.

Having a toy hauler makes some of this easier as we have a 7' long wooden tabletop, with fold out legs, like flea marketers use.
Hauling the extra tank outside, either by; a trailer hitch rack, or a small trailer, depending on what all we are bringing.

Another idea would be to relocate the LP quick disconnect supply, to the pre-regulator side of the LP gas on your RV.
But that would entail someone knowledgeable with what they are doing.

Others here have provided good ways to do it, just this is how we roll.

Weber Q2200 is the bomb. We love ours. I take a 6# tanks and a 1# tank for back up. Using the propane hookup on a coach takes a different type of grill. I think it's a lower pressure system. That would be convenient for sure but I opted for the Weber and glad I did!!!
