The IntstaPot looks intriguing. However, a good ole crock pot is my cooking gadget of choice right behind my Blackstone griddle. In the RV we have a 3 quart model and can cook in port or at sea. If we have a long cruise we fire up the generator, fill the crock pot with our meat of choice, a little Cajun holy trinity, S&P, plug it in and set it in the sink. When we get to our destination dinner is ready. If we are in port, the same thing only on shore power. Slow cooking really develops flavor.
My wife has become a fan of carnitas of late. I’ll put the pork in the crockpot until it is done, shred it, and crisp it up on the Blackstone with tortillas. Yum. Carnitas omelette for breakfast the next day with an extra dose of Lipitor - just kidding.
In this “instant” world, this retired guy still believes in low and slow. It’s never done me wrong. Life’s too short to eat bland food and drink cheap beer.
