Perhaps, but I prefer to believe that we have multiple options, not just electric vehicles (and I assume you are referring to motorhomes).
One option I can personally live with is downsizing, which is not only very easy to accomplish, but can also save on total costs, not just fuel costs. I still recall trading a huge Dodge with V8 for a 4-cylinder station wagon and doubling my highway MPG from about 14 to around 28.
I needed to trade cars anyway, so used the opportunity to downsize. Fuel costs alone would not have justified trading, but since I was trading anyway, why not?
Same could happen with motorhomes. Adjusted for inflation, fuel costs today are historically fairly low, but if they go up significantly, more buyers will choose smaller rigs. And they don’t have to be electric powered.
In reality, downsizing is already happening with greater demand for van campers, Gemini/Compass, Sprinter motorhomes, Axis/Vegas, etc....
In a way it’s kind of funny that downsizing has to occur before electric motorhomes are practical. And if you downsize, fuel savings to justify electrification is reduced.
