RV Warranty Suggestions

I'm going to purchase a RV warranty soon and looking for suggestions. I'm reading the policy documents from Good Sam (i.e. their ESP package) and another from Wholesale Warranty that's mentioned in the Roads Less Traveled web site.

Believe it or not, I Googled it and there's just not a lot out there and the ones that are don't seem to have recommendations (other than from their marketing department - go figure).

Does anyone have any suggestions for additional consideration, based on your experience with them, that I should seriously consider researching/reading before I lock and load?

Thanks for any input you can provide.

Never had an extended warranty, but have read what others have said about them and I will pass it along as others will also I would guess, especially those that have bought them.

1. The "Devil is in the details". Watch out for the small print.

2. Alternate plan; instead of buying an extended warranty, put money aside for emergencies and unexpected issues. Some say you will be ahead this way. But then again, they may not have owned a Thor kit coach.
Happy trails.

I would suggest not getting a warranty or esp. Keep the money you would pay for the monthly payment and deductible and pay for repairs from that money. In the long run you will be thousands of dollars ahead. If peace of mind is more important than the money then get a warranty.

Extended warranties have been thoroughly discussed here and on other forums. There will always be someone telling how they saved big money with one, but they seem to be the rare exception. Keep in mind that the dealer keeps about half of the cost for commissions, and the exclusions can really bite you in the you know where.

On top of being pricey and the exclusions, repairs will have to be done by an approved vendor, which may cause delays and frustration. One more layer of approval to clear before getting your repairs.

I purchased one on my fifth wheel and never had a claim. Skipped it on my next two rigs and still haven't had a claimable repair in several years and many miles. I am way ahead moneywise to have a dedicated RV repair fund.

Amen Mr Sunshine!
After reading the forum here I got a refund of 3k

Idk what it is worth for you but Coachline is one that is bumper to bumper should you choose to partake. I think they have several levels like Premium being #1
