This is a 2 hour event from 10:00 am. until 12:00 p.m. est. National Drone Safety Awareness Week (DSAW) establishes an annual week long series of events that spotlight drone safety for communities and stakeholders across the country in all 50 states. Drone safety is everyoneís responsibility and this event is envisioned as a public-private partnership with opportunities for all members of the drone community to participate. The use of drones for both business and recreational use is growing across the country and around the world. Assuring that safety awareness and culture keeps pace with drone innovations and applications will assist in the safe integration of drones into the National Airspace System. As the global leader in aviation safety, FAA will spearhead this effort to increase awareness of drone safety culture.
