Great thread, I've always wondered how people come up with the screen names they use. Mine is derived from my last name of Woods.

Mine is for my website Bobstoy2.com which I need to update next year when I retire. Hoping to spend more time on the road with my wife of 47 years showing her this beautiful country. Jackknifed the Jeep/Keystone trailer north of Daytona this year and traded everything in on this 2018 Thor AXIS 24.1. Grew up in an Air Force town in NC, now in Buffalo NY.

Mine came from my love of the Sanjuan islands in WA. state. Beautiful area and fantastic boating. I had to misspell it because some one already had the original.

Wow hope no one got hurt with that accident.

As for the Axis: If you haven't already go download Ed's excellent crowd sourced owner's manual found here:

Muggs - Our black Lab mix that was the in between kid and grandkid stage. I needed a screen name for drag racing forum question and he was sitting with chin on my knee. Always happy to see either of us, always happy to swim and loved to go in truck. We put him asleep in 2015 at 15 years due to old age. My wife and I held him as it was done. I been married over 40 years and I remember every 4 legged friend daily.

Labs...if only kids could be a good as labs. I've had 5 over the last 30 years...currently down to two...Bugsie (10) and Blondie (5). I don't think there's a smarter, more loving creature on this earth than a Labrador Retriever.

We have had 3 labs, 4 goldens, 2 english sheppards and a collie/german sheppard mix over our time together. Usually we had 3 to 5 at a time. With the passing of the older male we are down to just the little girl. Wife wants a pup but we are reaching age where pup may outlive us. This gives me pause.

I used to get called: "The dumb one", or "The ugly one" a lot...
Until they realized that I wore it like a Badge of Honor!

Before there was a Northern Command there was a United States Space Command. I worked in an office designated as J37, and my job was to design threat scenarios and simulations used for command center exercises. Some of these simulations were installed at various sensor sites worldwide. On one trip, the site commander asked me "so what is the evil J37 genie going to do to us this time?". The name stuck. :-)

Could move down highway 96 on the Klamath river in Ca. to Saiad (Saiadsam) or to Happy camp (HappycampSam) or Eureka(Sam). Did see a sign there one time & it said UpsnDowns(Sam). Or could move to Happy, Tx. & be called...just Happy. The list is long.

Hmm, maybe I ought to get some fold down window shades that look like uhh, famous people at a party or waving at everybody.

My current screen name is quite simply my initials and last name. Years ago I used the screen name of MrFinfish, which was quite simply the industry that I worked in for 40 years. The mrfinfish screen name seem like it was not doing what I needed to do, so I discarded it for just a simple name that represents my name. Sign me, gebills
