Question Spare Tires

So, had two road hazard tire failures n the first 10mos I've owned my Tuscany 45MX. Having to sit all day on the side of the road because nobody has my tire size sucks! Going to carry a spare from now on. Only problem is my 6-rears are 295/80R-22.5 and my two fronts are 315/80R-22.5. Not sure what size to invest in? Thoughts?

295 is the answer.
Your rear duals might rub each other if they're wider.
And
Some here will want you to hear:
It's worth the extra tire wait to not have the extra tire weight.

Duck nailed it. The 295 can be mounted on the front long enough to get you to a tire shop.

What position did your tires fail and "road hazard", any ideas. I definitely don't want to travel the roads you have.

Curious as to the psig your running steer, drivers and tag.

On my 8th year with the Tuscany and never a flat or failure so certainly happy about that.

Many folks that change out tires use a common size the truck stops carry. That won't the case for your steer axles but would cover the other 6 tires.

Position failures: 1st time, Driver's side Tag Tire, construction screw, 2nd time Drivers side inner Dually, short 1/2" carriage bolt. Wont' go down the tire pressure rabbit hole question. It like asking what oil is best! A million opinions. All tires are run at psi stated in Michelin pressure charts for actual weights on each tire. Basically trying to decide if I want one spare or both? Have room, but big $$ just going along for the ride.

One spare to rule them all.
But
I carry two spares on my car trailer.
Because I can.

It's not always about me.
Some other schlub with a flat might need a lucky break.

Darn, you had some bad luck with picking up items on the road. I still have the OEM Michelins and run close to the chart psig with 110 on steer and 90 on drive and Tag. If heading out early in the spring I usually start at 100 on the drivers and steer.

Reason for the question was the yellow sticker in my Tuscany states 110 all around which is heavier than required per Michelin charts by quite a bit. Your coach is a bit heavier than mine and why you have larger tires on the front axle. I am at 47k max.

Some folks don't realize they should run the drivers and tag at the same psig.

Quite a few DP's have gone with Toyo as replacements due to the availability at truck stops but that wouldn't help you with the steer tire. Your steer tire size is pretty scarce in most tire shops.

Yes my coach is 47,000 GVWR. But has a loaded rating of 57,000#. If I run my tires as low as you state mention, I get a TPMS low tire warning at 105psi. Michelin told me if I run at max psi (120) I'll never damage a tire, but could wear the centers faster. They said err on the high side, running low tire pressure will result in side wall failures. I'm still working on fine tunning. I just have to keep all eight tires inflated at this point

I don't have a TPMS on the Tuscany.

The weight charts for the Michelins on the Tuscany show the following:

41,920 for the driver/tag at 110 psig
35,110 for the drivers/tag at 90 psig

11,130 rating for the steer at 110 psig

We don't load heavily although we do travel with full fuel/water and so on. Scale weights show plenty of reserve so why the 90-100 psig range for the drivers/tag

I am a big fan of not being underinflated and watch tire temperatures more than any other variable. If were traveling in hot weather then I start at 100 psig and leave them their.

Luckily no road hazards and sure hope we don't have any. Hopefully you have had your share and then some.

Tags hand behind the read drive axle just for weight support and many times are not even duals.
