Just be careful on how "cheap" you go when it comes to tools.
I have witnessed, or experienced, tool failures on their first go around.
Called them: hillbilly knuckle busters!

Great annual practice! I just did this...nearly empty everything and re-pack, re-load what's needed. It's amazing how much stuff (and duplicates) get pushed to the back of cabinets and storage bays. How many of you find yourself running out of something at home and trot out to the camper to rob it of coffee, cokes, spirits, etc?

I’ve collected tools for 45 years. I’m still looking and buying. It’s that last one I bought that I say, how did I get along without that!

Don't have the proper tool for the job? To us: it just gave us another excuse for grabbing the Vise Grips!

GmTEch Wow +

So in another thread you mentioned that you found one wheel of your vegas was weighted down more than the others and used air bags to level.... Now I understand... You say you went to the indy car pit, or did you inherited the indi-car pit... lol What a spread my friend.... wow

As usual, I have so much to learn! I had motorcycles before my leg issues & loved tinkering with them, back in the days of carburetors. I built my 1st engine literally bought in a basket. I loved all my tiny metric tools that fit my small hands so well. I was always rather uncomfortable w/light wheel mechanics (& was so out of touch I didn't even notice when carburetors went awol). Y'all have forced to me to reevaluate my thinking. I came on the road w/all my tools (but they're of the powder & lead variety that I love so much), plus a few household tools. I had blissfully thought I could barrel down the road w/Radar & let road assistance worry about
any sudden tire or engine issues. I excused my lack of readiness by blaming my limited physical ability, but y'all are makin me own up to that sheis. No excuse. I know I'm gonna havta come up w/some work arounds for physical limitations, but I won't close my eyes to it anymore. I gotta jus suck it up & deal with it. Thanks, guys!!!

How did I ever live without the small, light electric wrenches? I haven't used an air impact wrench in the last year. I must have at least 4 electric drill/drivers around the house, cars and RV. Now, I can't seem to find the right bits.

Tons of cool stuff but you have to be careful...there's a reason it's 3 times cheaper than a flea market. Lots of it is crap.
