Kitties will have to wait until I take a long trip. My trips are usually only 3 or 4 days and relatives do cat sitting.

I am loving this thread!!

This our new rescue Cooper. He is a pit and american bull dog mix. He howls like a hound dog, so maybe some of that too :-). He is about 15 months old and keeps me company when I am in the RV in Tuscaloosa by myself. The sweetest roommate and running buddy ever!!

We have a Hurricane 34J, so we converted the bottom bunk to his crate "room." The crate is wonderful. You can message me if you want the brand. We were happy enough to buy two of them.

We rescued this puppy in Baja, Mexico in late February.

She is smart, full of energy and we are grateful she found us. Naming her was the most difficult! We chose the name Baja!

Don't know why this posts upside down. But you get the idea.

As I had mentioned in a previous post last year we took two cats to a dog centered campground (4Paws Kingdom) for October fest. Their mom Maggie was not social enough to travel at the time. We decided that this year Maggie is travelling with us. So that Maggie gets used to the coach she has been camping out in the driveway this weekend. Of course one of us is camping out with her so she gets used to living the RV lifestyle.

Here is a picture of Maggie adjusting to her new lifestyle.



And here is a picture of her two kittens lounging after a day of driving the dogs crazy at 4 Paws. They loved sitting in the bedroom window when everyone was walking their dogs.



Another trip to 4 Paws in the future. Only this time we'll take 3 cats and our dog of course.

Would greatly appreciate any positive thoughts or prayers for our much loved Lucy from anyone who may read this. She's at the Auburn Vetenary hospital now being treated for an autoimmune disease being a possible cause for critically anemic. Her red blood cell count was only 13 when checked today (normal count in dogs is 35-55). She hasn't been eating well and very lethargic over the past 10 days or so and has been at our regular vet clinic numerous times during this time. This was discovered after doing some additional blood work today.

She's being monitored 24/7 and anticipate a week to 10 day hospital stay. We get to visit her during this time and will be down there tomorrow to check on her. About a 45 minute drive.
