Jamie...you're scary! I bought a 1978 International short bus from Rockdale County Schools in 1996 and made a NASCAR camper with it. Used it twice every year. Custom tag was "NASBUS". Had generator bracket welded on back, 6000W open frame generator, window unit, dining booth, bed in back, ladies enclosed bathroom with carpet and porta-pottie, over head cabinets, 3 burner stove w/oven, 1000W stereo system with 10 speakers...lots more redneck goodies. I should have kept it and saved three digits.

All the time. Just ordered a 50 ft 30 amp extension cord. The scary part is when you start on the second generation of upgrades and gadgets to replace the first round.

The pile of "Stuff" in the garage is growing...

...And the Missus is starting to get suspicious!

I’m just reviewing my running list of upgrades and adds and my current (and continuing to grow) wish list.

Totals
Completed Items - $8,000
Wish List - $4,000

I’d have been better off hiding the cost fields in the spreadsheet. Worse yet, some of the wish list items are upgrades to upgrades.

Our list is worse than that: we're already looking at a new rig!

At this rate: I'm going to end up in a 90-footer!
How about just towing a trailer so you can buy more stuff.

Spending

I think I may have you all beat. I will be celebrating owning the MH for a month on 11/6/18 and have already spent over $5000.00 on RV stuff.
The only trip so far was to the gas station. Ouch!

The Blue Ox tow system is laying on the garage floor ready to install when I can get her car stopped in one place. The directions say a couple hours so I'm thinking a couple days. Old bones and sore hands

Still have to order the rock shield or something to keep the wife's CRV from damage while being towed.

On that note recommendations are welcome. And how do you measure for them? They offer width and height, where do you measure, frame to ground? Width I guess outside of tire to outside of tire?
A gravel shield is not something I worry with towing the boat. A can of black spray paint and it's fixed

Hopefully her CRV is pre-2015?

Yes it's a 2014 apparently the newer models don't tow
Got lucky for a change

Correct. CV Transmission started in 2015 which ended the flat towing for the CRV.

I just put the blue ox towbar and based plate on my 2014 CRV last month I took a couple of days cause I want to make sure all my wiring and everything that I needed to round up through was all done at the same time while I had the front of the Honda off butt it goes on pretty easy the only big problem I had was when it talks about torquing the bolts they’re referring to the diameter of the bolt not the head size of the bolt so make sure you get the right torquing because I broke one of mine off by overtorquing it anyway easy fix though I had to do was knock it off and then put a new on there no problem
I bought all my stuff from Etrader.com they seem to have the best prices but another good thing about etrader you go to their website and they have all the videos that shows you how to do everything so before I started I watched them all several times and it went pretty easy took about four days to do everything in their face plate braking system in the wiring for the lights

Crv

Thanks I was thinking a couple days. I think I've got everything I'll need. Extra electrical connectors bolts. More tools than my wife thinks anyone should hav.. until the car needs fixing or the bathroom needs remodeled
