Seriously.

My wife named 'her'. She wanted an Axis but we ended up with the Vegas and she did not originally want a Vegas because of the name. She does not want to hear 'what happens in the Vegas stays in the Vegas' jokes.

After we bought it she said it needed a name and that popped into her head. So that's the name.

My wife lately has taken to calling ours "Your Baby"
I think it's her passive aggressive way of telling me I focus too much attention on it.
She just doesn't understand that I look at it as a tool for spending time with HER and the kids.

That last sentence ~~ you are either a politician or have been married a long time. I'm not a politician so it took the 1st 40 years of our marriage to learn to say things like that.

Mind if I chime in on this conversation ? I am the wife...
I love it...seeing Ron go out there in the driveway and tinker with the RV..and..it is amazing !! I can ask him to do this or that in the RV and he is soooo willing, without discussion...we have great give n take conversations regarding mods/improvements on the motorhome and he has done them all !
and where we are going next...whether it is an overnite jaunt or a week or more away.
When we bought our first motorhome, he said it was because of the cat...that we didn't want to leave her at home...suppose that still remains the reason, as now...we have KC's Big Box...and we are ALL happy campers.
We both feel, without saying it aloud to one another...that
THE CAMPING/RV LIFESTYLE IS HEALTHY FOR US ! .. We have are married over 50 yrs !!

Blondie & "The BEE"

Hi, we named our "Thor" Palazzo Blondie.
One salesman referred to our color choice as being the blonde coloration.
Turns out that Thor's wife Sif had golden locks. We decided that our unit was a she. Since Sif was a blonde, the name Blondie seemed to fit!

Our bright yellow toad sort of resembles a bumble bee...hence "The Bee".
BTW...our KIA Soul is a queen bee...yup, she is!

We let our son name it and although the name does not fit, he took a page from the movie RV and calls it the "Rolling Turd". So not we all get in the rolling turd and hit the road.

We named ours 'The Leaky Jean '.

The first weekend out, we were in a downpour, and the roof over the cab leaked. This was also my wife's childhood nickname, so it seemed fitting.

Teens must all think alike! Our two oldest grandsons nicknamed ours the "Rolling Turd".

When we got our first documented boat we named it CINDY LOU. The next one, which had to be bigger, was CINDY LOU II, and of course the last one was.....you guessed it....CINDY LOU III. That is my DW's name so it was an easy one. I'm just not sure about naming a MH or RV.

Vernon, we named our 2014 24ST siesta after the retired Marine that we purchased it from.
R-oaming V-ernon ....get it ?
He bought it for traveling during retirement and fell ill with health concerns and could no longer travel or maintain the rig. During the purchase process we became friends and his picture is in the rig and we send him texts and pix of every adventure. He's with us in spirit and I think just maybe, that makes him smile.

Mostly we still call it CasaLoca (sort of Spanish for Crazy House) but gradually I find myself using a different name. There are days I call it "Old Patch and Caulk".

My wife or one of my daughters referred to our Vegas as a "mini house"
and that was shortened to "Mini"
She even has a front license plate that says MIN

That big windshield sticking out front made the RV look bug-eyed, hence, the name is Bugsy.

We named ours "Hammer", because Thor uses a hammer.
