Tuna Boat 2

Ok, so when i was in high school, i owned a 39 Plymouth coup.
No i didn't buy it new, lol, this was around 1971.
It was a big hunk of american metal..
The plymouth logo on the trunk, was the mayflower ship.
Some one joked about the ship on the trunk, and size of the car, and the Tuna Boat was born. ( I ended up painting Tuna Boat, on the side of the car. )
I dated the same girl for about 2 years during high school, and we had a lot of great and memorable times with the car.
We lost touch with each other after we graduated, and I sold the car.
Fast forward 45 years.
We found each other again on Facebook, both divorced, retired and looking for a new adventure.
Got together, and picked right up where we left off in high school.
Bought a brand new Windsport, 35m.
After our adventures together in High School, with the Tuna Boat, the only obvious choice for a name, was " Tuna Boat 2".
Having the time of our lives.
I guess it's true, " Life Happens "

I love reading what people named their RVs. I could be a little biased , since I started the thread and I get an email every time someone responds . Of course I always have to go read it. There are many great names on the thread and many have been chuckle worthy , but yours comes with a really great heartwarming story of reconnection and a chuckle . Thanks for sharing and I wish you and your honey many happy miles in your Tuna boat 2.

We usually name our vehicles. My Green Altima is Froggy.

So the RV was named Rover.

Froggy is up to be replaced for a tow vehicle. Gonna miss that name, but I can probably still call it Froggy or Toad at least no matter what the color is.

Along the same idea as croused, we are calling our 2016 25.2 VEGAS "THE PUP TENT"

Since we basically bought it to travel with our pups.

Well, to keep things tasteful and polite, our 24.1 Axis is simply initialed "F.A.F." Now, if my mother or my in-laws ask it is "Fancy And Free", but actually the name is a little more colorful. When I posted a picture of our new RV on my British motorcycle club's forum, one of the members replied that our RV was "Fancy as F___!" So, just the initials, thank you.

Thanks Sandy. We're just having to much fun, and still need to pinch ourselves once in a while... lol.
Great idea on the post too, thanks for starting it.

When we purchased our previous MH, a used 1990 Airstream WindJammer a friend asked "how it drove". My immediate reply without thinking was, "like a drunken whale". Which of course became its name.

So when we got our used 2015 Windsport 27K, It handled much better, so its now become the "Tipsy Whale". And since I did the CHF on the sway bars, its one drink short of tipsy.

We call it "The Beast". Family members who have not even seen it yet know it as such.

I use that one too...we tower over most with the loft bedroom above the garage... she is still formally "Lucille", but I use "the beast" a lot...

The Whale for obvious reason when we have it parked in the driveway in front of our house. Looks like a grey whale beached in our front yard..

My wife and I used to watch the show Dexter. There was a character that always dreamed of going to Argentina and used that as her mental vacation anytime she was stressed.
We have been dreaming of buying an RV for about 6 years and often when one of us would have a stressful day we would relax with a beer or glass of wine and talk about our RV. We always called it our Argentina. We just purchased a Vegas and named it Argentina or Tina for short.

The Bettye

My dear sister named our Chateau 23U after our departed Mother: The Bettye!
She was a hell of a gal and she is a great and confident Motor home!
