We just upgraded to a longer RV (AKA House on Wheels), so it's now called HoWie, because it's long and the Wife like the Raiders old defense man of the same name!

Named my RV Panamint Annie.
Annie was one of the last generation of women prospectors, miners .
The area of Eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains has the Panamint Mountains. This valley is west of Death Valley and just before Owens Valley.
She lived her life exactly as she wanted, a great biography to read BTW.

Hey Dog Lovers.
Annie's gravesite is outside of Rhyolite ghost town. Bullfrog cemetary.
If you find it, only in Nevada, make sure to leave a libation of a drop or two of good whiskey.
Annie has been known to be as mischievous in after life as history.
She can cause batteries in phones to die, Jeeps to not start.

We've taken to calling ours 'Tanuki Tardis'.. the other day we thought "this place seems bigger on the inside"... and we carry a small Tanuki statue along with us on road trips...

Our little Chateau 22E got named "Nurse Nellie" (Nellie for short) because my sweet hubby developed some health issues that made climbing down from the elevated bed in our pop-up truck camper, a bit too challenging. The complete lack of a bathroom made it a deal-breaker, and it got sold.

So Nellie is sort of my husband's caregiver She's making sure we don't have to give up our traveling/sightseeing
