Arrow Add one more to the list

Cleaning the A/C condenser once a year. Take the 4 screws off the A/C units on the roof and remove the cover. This is mine after almost 3 years. I used a 2 inch paint brush and compressed air set at 50 psi.

For some reason this is showing upside down, and was not taken this way.

Joe,
My wife is visiting family also. She flew out of OKC and is flying back in on Sunday. Where are you staying around OKC? I am at the El Reno city park. I enjoyed talking with you also.
Ryan

In B-I-Ls drive in OKC until wife gets back tomorrow afternoon, then on to Treetops in Arlington for a week. Then, off on big trip southwest, west and back to northeast by late Sept if all holds together.

On the bright side: It's a good thing that you caught it!

...And it's already on next year's list...

Cleaning the condenser annually is really pretty important. Not doing so causes them to run hotter, and heat kills them prematurely.

Yup, In Lowes its actually called "Coil Cleaner" yellow and green can. Works great. In our old sob, We had Carrier heat pumps that worked great. Much quieter than the dometics in the DRV, and worked better. The heat pump worked down into the high 20's(*) and never had an issue. Until an Oak tree lost a branch during a Texas thunderstorm. Branch damaged the cover and cracked the compressor housing.
