Arrow Anderson RV 200 Kantleak water valve leak

When I had the water valve in the city water position it would leak some of the fresh water into my fresh water holding tank. The problem was the valve cartridge stem. There is a newer design of this cartridge out. Ron from Anderson stated that it came out in March of 2015. It takes 5 minutes or less for the replacement. Ron from Anderson can be reached at 800-476-9876. Both Ron and DRV were great in helping me out getting it fixed. This is a video on how to replace the valve,

I hope that no one needs this information but I wanted to post it up in case someone has the same issue.

Happy and safe travels.

I haven't run into that problem yet, but thanks for posting this for reference if I ever need it. Now if I can just remember where I saw it when the time comes that I DO need it....

Is this something DRV will fix at their facility even if the valve functions properly?

Does anyone else see the humor in the name of the valve?

I do not think so and I think there failure rate is low. But because of the ones they had, they researched, tested and resigned the valve stem. Ron stated to me that if I ever have any issues in the future, just call him. I always place a pressure valve on my water line so I am not close to the 100 psi rating. I think the valve only lets 55 psi through.

This forum will not allow users to edit the first post of a thread that they create. Not sure as to why. But I asked before about it and that is just they way that the admin has the forum set up.

LOL, people can read down and see the change or just PM Janet and have her delete it. I would think if people PM the mods often about making edits or deletes. They might turn that feature on for the members to take care of it themselves.

I think most people would just be interested in just the first post anyways.

Well, the stem is bad again. Looks like I will be installing a shut off valve tomorrow.
