1st trip back to dealer had 48 items on list. Right now I am around 40 items. Hopefully new mattress I ordered will arrive tomorrow to replace the joke they sent with it. So I am sure I will find something new when I go in it even though it hasn't moved in 3 weeks.

We just passed our 10 year anniversary for full timing this past June and have no plans to quit.
Great to hear.
You must post your experience full timing

One year of ownership and have had very few concerns. Went to Howe, IN to have a few things taken care of. Biggest problem was a leaking front leveling jack that was replaced. Had the slide outs adjusted and had the clips on the brake calipers replaced and a few small items taken care of. Spent two days there.

We replaced the Goodyears with Continentals after having four of the GY's suffer tread separation on our previous 2013 Suites.

All in all we have little to complain about so far with our purchase.

You are fortunate.
Among the most serious of the myriad of items we had/have is the rear cap.

My third trip to Howe for repairs was last september where they removed the cap, aded floor bracing and reattached the vertical bracing holding the side walls to the rear wall (all 5 sheet metal screws failed 5 - only 5 little screws securing the rear wall to the side walls. IMHO, if you going to advertise 'stick built' construction you should at least follow some basic construction techniques like corners and setting walls ON the floor instead of next to).

Latest trip I found one rear corner screw backed out and one starting to

Backing out screws is a DRV "Feature".

My rear cap and lower "J" wrap are in serious need of repair. I will get it secured and actually put in backing so the trim has something to screw into.

You still have not done that? Do the rear wall fix and add backers at the same time.

I'm new to this forum. I bought a 2014 MS Estate 38RSB3 in 2019. I've been full timing ever since. I now have to replace the grey tank valve so I'm open on suggestions on how to do it. This valve appears to be glued to the PVC pipe.

Soon to be a DRV owner

Selling my present 5th wheel and looking really hard at the DRV 41RKDB. My wife and I really like th floor layout. What I like about DRV, of course, is the IS and disc brakes, plus the thick wall construction. So far the only thing I would have liked to see in the 41RKDB is some tables in the living room to sent your drinks and stuff on. There isn't even a tinny table anywhere. I was also a little surprise that such an expensive camper like the DRV has manual recliners. I would think they would be powered.
I am not new to 5th wheels, but I am new to DRV's, so I welcome any comments or suggestion about the DRV's

Thanks,
Dan

You don't need to replace the entire valve. You rebuild the existing valve by removing the 4 bolts then replace with a new gate & seals. Before reinstalling head to your local hardware store & pick up a tube of "plumbers grease" (also works great on the toilet seals) to use on the new seals, NOT Vaseline or any other petroleum product as it could damage the seals. It can be PITA to separate the 2 halves if there's not any slack in the line.
BTW! I don't nor never have owned a DRV but have owned & worked on several rvs that 99.9% are built with the same stuff as DRV just not packaged in the expensive wrapping. Didn't want to get scolded for responding to a DRV question.

It’s not glued in place. 4 bolts hold in in place. If you can’t find one let me know.

New to DRV, Needing a ceiling fan

We took delivery of our 2022 41RKDB in February 2022. We ordered last July in 2021. We've been on two trips, one in March and this summer to Estes Park for 14 days. We love our DRV. The only thing we did not get, an over site, was a ceiling fan. Anyone have any suggestions on what to get and how to install it?

You don't have a ceiling fan in the living room?

New owner 2021 41fkmb

Well after many months of research of what to get for our full time rig we recently purchased a 21 41fkmb. Sadly we have to wait about 10 days to pick her up due to dealer service dept being short staffed. We are coming from a 34' Avalanche. Very very excited about the new rig!
