New Anderson brass valve

Just some observations of the new Anderson brass Kantleak valve assembly (MANRV 102-RF).
Why do 3 of the connection points now swivel?
Why did they place an extension on one of the connections?
Why did they have us switch two of the water heater lines?
I also noticed that there is not a click when switching from fill tank to city fixtures/dry camping. So I am guessing that as long as you are generally pointed where you want you are good to go.

Can't answer the questions, but it works ok after you make sure all the poly fasteners don't bottom out on the brass fittings. But as to the reversing the water heater lines--maybe because they mis-printed the instructions?
Good luck with the install.

Swivel ? Guess they were not sure this one would be leak free so that added a failure point

Extension ? I believe you are looking at the now included "anti fill the fresh water tank check valve" because they are not sure the new system will prevent filling when unwanted.

Water heater? just a plumbing change to fit the new manifold.

Click ? I suppose that disappeared now that "anderson brass company" is using brass in their valves. Novel idea.
