Battery Replacement -- Lifeline AGM ??

Has anyone replaced their batteries with Lifeline AGM batteries. If so, what is the part number. The closest I can find is GPL-4CT which run about $290 each.

Any help would be appreciated.

Don

We had four of those in our 38RSSA. They were our second set as we had the same batteries in our previous coach which lasted 10 years.

I hear good things about Lifeline but IMO "any name brand AGM" should be pretty darn good.

I would pick the cheapest one.

When I purchased my Full River 6volt AGM's from Battery Depot I asked for a discount and they knocked off 10%. So dont be afraid to ask for a deal.... esp at the price we pay for a couple of AGM's.

Thanks EWACOWBOY. I have heard good things about Lifeline. I appreciate the input.

Lifeline, Full River, Trojan...
You're in pretty good company, with any of them!

Just installed Duracell Ultra Platinum AGM's in our rig last week. Pair of 12v 27m's. $219 each at local Batteries Plus store. Be interesting to see how they perform.

I've got Duracells in our Tiffin, and (so far): they seem to be doing a pretty darn good job!
I hope that you have GREAT luck with them!

Don, when I had the solar install done, AMSolar put 4 4GT-6CTs in after first considering the 4CT. They are 6 volt, 2 pairs seriesed, then both pairs paralleled. At 300ah each, but having 2 pairs seriesed, gives 600ah total available, then should only use down to 50%SOC to prolong life. Just discussed LiPO4 units this am at their shop--came to conclusion would lose to much on the good batteries just to swap out. But will go Lithium if my ship ever comes in...
They are GOOD batteries.
