Yes, Meese's Springs in Pennsylvania comes to mind, long ago when I had a young family, but I think you are in the wrong forum for those inquiries.
Most folks in here have "been there, done that" and now moved on, or out and into.

Like me, knees do not allow me to bend down onto the ground as easily, as they once did.
Ankles sometimes pain and don't offer as much support at times.
The old "should have taken better care of myself" syndrome.

So it is not have I ever, it is more like, can I still, I like to think so for me.
Fire up the old Harley, screw the van, might as well RV then!

Maybe the thread title could be adjusted:
Faux cabinets and no joinery.

The cabinets are nothing more then face frames nailed or screwed to walls and framing.
Most of our cabinets - the back is the wallboard, the top is the ceiling.
Items that at least should be pocket screws are nailed. Found three more nail shoot throughs last night when I stabbed my fingers wiping down the base of the island.

It would have been nice if the jig they used to build face frames was flat and had clamps.
My estimate would be half of all mating surfaces are not flush with one another.

Duane,
Was that every door? Lost count in our Suites at 38 or so...Sad commentary on their cabinetry builder. So far, only problem with our woodwork is you can see every place where they shot a brad and then filled in the depression with a lighter-colored filler.

I don’t recall how many were split, but the shop changed all the doors of similar construction, 44 total. I have plenty of brads showing with the same light filler.

Makes you wonder.

The doors are currently supplied by 3 different vendors. Not the same ‘craftsman‘ as the cabinets.

My DRV is a 2017 Santa Fe. I did a cabinet survey in it this am.
All of my cabinet faces are stiles and rails, not 45 angle cuts. Have never seen mortise/tenon in cabinetry.
All of my doors and drawer fronts are flush with the surrounding areas.
All of my doors are put together with pocket screws. No nails.
All of my cabinets are built with the ceiling being the top and the wall being the back. I can not see where having them built with wood tops and backs would be of any advantage other than adding weight.
There is only one place in my rig where two doors close with less than 1 1/2" between them. That is at the laundry center. They do not hit and have a consistent 3/8" center gap. Looks good to me.
I am not a carpenter or cabinet maker. However I am a picky consumer. Some things just don't warrant a lot of excitement from me though.
We are currently in our 6th. DRV and are happy. If things have actually degenerated as much as some say I will just spend my money somewhere else. Problem solved for me. But like I said. Happy for now. Good luck with your educated decision.

"All of my doors are put together with pocket screws. No nails."

Did you mean face frames?

My doors are all raised panel and the outer portion is glued together and two nails are driven in from the back at the joints.

Three black dots not by the joint are part of the Cherry wood.

I love my cabinets, they are by far the best built , and best looking out of any of my previous Rv cabinets.

Not a carpenter/woodworker, thus the wrong terminology. Corrected, cabinet doors are stiles/rails, and believe it is Honey Cherry, but I am not the original owner.

Ron,
What is the screw head in your pic?

You are correct. I did mean face frames.

Our MS is a 2010 38TKSB3. With regards to the cabinetry, I think most of all of that is wood.

We recently had the on/off switch for the fireplace go bad and quit going on and off. Thus, I needed access to replace the switch. Can't pull the switch out to replace, so we have to pull out the fireplace. The two vertical pieces on each side and the top horizontal piece have to come off to get the fireplace out. I checked with Slade at Rolling Retreats as to any tips for removing the trim pieces. His reply was to be very careful because they weren't wood but some kind of foam.

He was right. I was able to "rock" the trim back and forth enough to get a good grip and pull the foam pieces off of the nail brads holding them on. Next, I'll take out the old brads and get a brad nailer with which to replace the trim.

Angry Full Slide wall separation happening

The 2018 36.1 Thor Palazzo is back at CW to fix the AC problem that existed at the last visit - told us it was fixed, come and get the coach! We did and tested it in the lot and the AC failed to shut off again/still. AS we were told the unit was ready, we made campground reservations for the next 10 days and could not get refunds, so CW want another $200 deductible for fixing the issue the warranty company already paid them for and I already paid the $200 deductible for the failed work - this will be interesting.

But wait, there's more! As I was looking at the full wall slide seals, I noticed the cabinet housing the washer and dryer was pulling away from the wall - 1/4 inch by the dinette and over 1 inch by the bedroom door! You can also see where the molding has come apart as the cabinet moved away from the wall. CW says call Thor, warranty people say not covered, Chuck says the installation was crap and Thor should make good on this problem. We shall wait and see what they say, but Quality is job ZERO at Thor it seems!

Since they said that they fixed it... and didn't: I'd mention that I want all of my money back on that first, useless attempt.

Oh yeah, with a 1 year warranty on their repair work, I'm not paying for anything there, it's the other stuff that is really aggravating.
