Comfort ride hitch

Will the comfort right hitch make a noticeable improvement with an already good ride with Mor/ryde IS and Pinbox?

Yes it will. I have the 245 and we have a very good ride. I can look back in the mirror going down the road and see it moving up and down on the cushions. I wanted a cushion type hitch but did not want to deal with air bags. I have used Comfort Ride for around 4 years now and been very happy with it.

Comfort ride hitch

Great!!! I'm running the same year of truck and trailer you have and I've been looking at the hitch for about two months. I'll be back in Montana in a couple weeks so I think I'll order me one then.
Thanks

I have seen the hitch in person and IMHO not worth the money. I would go Hensley if I wanted a sprung hitch.

Surely everyone knows that one of the disadvantages of a comfort ride hitch is that it turns the TV on at 2 AM every night.

Ken

P.S. I don't know if TV is television or tow vehicle. However, either one is annoying if it comes on in the middle of the night.

"Free" shipping with Hensley. We are happy with ours.

What is your truck and what are you towing ?

Looks like a pretty darn elaborate mounting system to me with the Comfort ride.

What is so elaborate about it? My hitch is mounted on standard bed rails.

I am going by the massive steel plates that were on a F450 in Elkhart, IN at a campground the owner had just installed. Also do a google search on the right there are pics of a similar mounting system.

Yup I have seen those and I guess they work fine. Mine is on standard bed rails and has worked great for four years pulling two different 5th wheels.

You will need air bags on the truck, I also strongly advise Bilstein 4600 shocks.

Do that with a B&W hitch and you will be good to to.

Set the air bags to 30-40lbs with load on, just enough to keep the truck level.

The biggest part of a good ride is the trucks suspension!

See if you can add the TrailerAir airbag 21K kingpin.

Ride rite + bilsteins on my list. Was thinking about more ryde pin box and comfort ride hitch. It just makes sense to me that a silicon cushion (comfort ride) or air bags (Hensley) would absorb more shock than a all steel hitch.
