Different size water pipes.
I may have found some of the problem I have been having with low water pressure/flow. If you notice at the bottom of the manifold, the inlet pipe is 3/8" and all of the outlets are 1/2". Not a big deal I guess but it doesnt help.

That looks like all 1/2" PEX. Which line do you see that is 3/8"

Perhaps this is a better picture showing how the pipe the goes up into the manifold is 1/2" and the pipe teed coming from the left is not.

Every pressure line in my unit off the manifold is 3/8" and water pressure seems to be dependent on outside source pressure.
What type problem with pressure are you having? Everywhere, or just some faucets?

If I'd have plumbed the manifold, the supply would've/should've come straight into the bottom. Are you sure that's the supply line.
As mentioned all of my lines are 1/2" Pex & the pressure depends on what's being supplied. Most parks very low pressure, usually 35-40 psi which is not much. Although we've been to parks that are 80- 100 psi which is too much.
If your using one of these, they do fail & restrict the flow

I would recommend this instead, comes preset at about 55 psi which a good pressure & use it everywhere.
It's 1 of 2 things I hook up everywhere we park
#1 is the EMS/surge protector
#2 water pressure regulator
And in that order.

George, that line is going to the refrigerator only and it is a 1/4 inch line. With the tee at the bottom all the way out, it is allowing max flow to the refrigerator. When you tighten the tee, it shuts off the water to the fridge only. Hope this helps. All the plumbing for the rig is done is 1/2 inch pex. The lines are color coded as well, with blue cold, red hot.

Thanks for the help guys. Lets assume that I know the difference between whats 1/2" pex and 3/8".
Not using a regulator. My point was to show how DRV used smaller lines in a place where they should not have.

I don't get why they would use a smaller line for the feed. It takes more pressure to push a given amount of water through a smaller line.
That said, at least it looks like you have mostly brass fittings. That was one of the things that stood out 2 years ago during my factory tour, and helped me decide to buy the DRV.
Alas, all the visible connections in my trailer are plastic. Although my feed into the manifold is 1/2"

I do know, for a fact, that DRV did use 3/8 pex for several years. For all lines. Not sure when it changed, but my 2012 and all earlier units had 3/8. My 14 and 17 units have had all 1/2". Good luck.

I'm using this regulator and disappointed with the reduced flow.
The park we were at last week had 60 psi and it was consistent. That's enough pressure to make the the toilet kind of 'pop' when first stepping on the pedal, and the it makes the flush noisier (wakes my wife).
I put my regulator on which is set to 55psi and the shower flow was difference was quite noticeable as were all the other faucets, drink water tap etc.

No labels? Just shut each one off and see what doesn't have water--then use a marking pen to label them. No more guessing...
Besides, when factory labels them doesn't mean they are right, based on other complaints...

Please explain your theory on that seeing as how the water pump or city pressure will actually set the actual pressure.
Reminds me of an old plumber I met years ago. When questioned as to why he ran a 1/2" line to feed the 3rd floor of a building Stated the same idea. Problem is it is a false thought and there was a very limited flow of water going that distance. Could not refill the toilet and fill a water glass at same time. Cost him lots of $$ to replace as it should have been in first place. That's why buildings over a certain height have to add booster pumps to get water to upper floors.

YUP! We had very fluctuating pressures on a building. First floor pressure assist toilets worked fine second floor were hit or miss! Put in two 2" in like pressure pumps, one for each floor and all was golden after.

For the time being I am using the winterizing/disinfecting position and the pump to suck city water instead of from the tank. Works much better.
