DRV Grey Tank Valve Replacement

Has anyone replaced their grey tank valve? If so, will you please go over your steps on how you did it. I bought the replacement valve and these appear to be glued to the PVC pipe. So how did you remove the original valve?

I have a 2014 MS Estate RSB3.

Never mind. I figured it out. I should have looked at the new one before posting.

I replaced mine with the standard Valterra "T" handle valve and just reach under to open and close. No more cable for me!!!

Thanks. I've been meaning to replace my valve for two years. I had posted on the regular DRV forum and you had showed pictures of your modifications. I just never got around to fixing it until now. I'm going to work on it this afternoon. I hope I have another RV in a couple of years.

I agree with you. I already bought the replacement valve so I'm going to try to stick with it.

No way! Just something else to go wrong. Simple Valterra "T" handle valves for me.

No, I've read where people have used them. Some like it, some don't. I see you have to have the right angle to install them so you have to make sure there's space for them.
