DRV Luxury Suites Videos - Word for Word

I am posting the DRV Luxury Suites "Video's Word for Word" as listening to the video's are hard to understand.

As posted on DRV Luxury Suites website (Videos - DRV)

DRV Slide Out Construction
There is a common myth about slide outs being a weak point in the fifth wheel construction. And with DRV this is not the case, our slide outs are built with the same rigid construction methods as our main walls. We offer a true residential hung wall construction on our slide outs with real household insulation. Our customers live in their slides, and we protect them as well with this exclusive residential construction. At 3 1/4 inches thick and 16 inches on center stud spacing, our slides are strong dependable and for season. We also incorporate our quarter-inch residential vapor barrier around each slide to eliminate condensation and to fully protect you in any hot or cold climate. Once framed we then glue in residential R16 wool insulation around the box, the exact same way as our main walls. You spend most of your time inside the slide outs and DRV ensures you are comfortable inside regardless of what climate you take your fifth wheel into. Once completed each slide out has our custom-built cabinetry backsplashes and appliances installed even before the slide gets installed into the fifth wheel. That helps protect these expensive materials from being damaged and ensures everything has a proper fit before it goes into the production line.

DRV Sidewalls
The DRV sidewall has always been a tremendous advantage to the construction of our product over our competitors. We feel that lamination is a cheaper and weaker way to construct an RV, and it doesn't allow for the proper materials to be used to make a true four-season coach. At the DRV are philosophy is simple, if you're going to build it build it like a home so it functions like on. Our hung sidewalls offer 16 inch on center construction with heavy duty framing around every slide out. All our walls are mechanically fastened so it ensures that every joint is the exact same and allows for flex going down the road. We fill the bottom rail of our walls with wood; so we can carriage bolt it to the floor in every bay. This allows us to lock our walls into the floor providing a full completion of our heavy-duty superstruction. The DRV wall is 3 1/4 inches thick which is the thickest wall in the RV industry. This thickness allows us to offer a true residential R16 insulation inside. Insulation is measured by the space given, and with our thick walls we can almost double the insulation provided by our competitors. Insulation is so important for full-time use that DRV takes are R16 insulated walls one step further. In between the interior wallboard and the aluminum stud we place a full residential foam core vapor barrier. This vapor barrier creates a full separation of the aluminum from touching the inside of our fifth wheel, which allows us to eliminate condensation sweat and mold from forming. Laminated walls cannot achieve this and condensation is inevitable. Once insulated we have created the best full residential installation package in the industry. And we are now ready to install the gel coat fiberglass on the sidewalls. Are quarter-inch high gloss gel coat has a wood backer that allows us to easily screw and glue the gel coat on to the side walls. This style of production eliminates the chance for de-lamination. The overall construction technique is exactly the same style as residential home construction and is the sole reason why we can build a thicker wall with true insulation.

DRV Roof Construction
The roof of any RV is a vital part in the construction process, and DRV make sure it's strong insulated and sealed to protect you for years of use. We start by spacing strong engineered roof trusses 16 inch on center that are hard screwed into the side wall for a strong complete attachment to the rest of the coach. Custom-made insulated AC ducts with cold air returns are placed in a double H create equalize air pressure throughout the coach. High-density formaldehyde free wool insulation is blanketed in between each rafter that creates a residential rated R 25 insulation barrier. Then one ½ inch residential plywood is screwed and glued over the entire roof creating a solid platform to easily allow you to walk all over. The final piece to complete the roof construction will be a high grade one-piece rubber overlaymund for a fully molded fiberglass roof seal and protect the roof for years to come.

DRV Pre-Delivery Inspection

Before any DRV product is shipped out to our dealers, each unit goes through a strenuous series of testing and inspection. Are pre-delivery inspection department was implemented back in 2007 and has done an outstanding job in keeping our quality standards to the highest degree possible. Once in PDI we go over every detail of the exterior and interior by hand. From full system checks including pressurized water line checks to taking flashlights over all the cabinetry you can be sure that your DRV has been inspected every square inch. Are PDI has also allowed us the opportunity to control our supplier components by letting us test them before they deliver to the customer. Every appliance is turned on and ran through a cycle to make sure they operate properly and everything is hooked up correctly. By doing this we can control what goes into our product and catch any bad materials before they leave our facility. This improves our quality and eliminates that huge checklist customers have, when they pick up their new fifth wheel from our dealer.

DRV Furnace and Air Conditioning
In order to be four seasons, you have to be able to live comfortably inside your DRV in both hot and cold conditions. Inside any DRV product you will have the industries best heating system setup. We start with a 40,000 BTU furnace then attach a custom-made plenum on back that allows us to attach a series of five individual heat ducts, that run through the fifth wheel in every key area. Our competitors only offered a two-duct system, which leaves many areas of their fifth wheel vulnerable to cold spots. Our exclusive 5 duct heating system runs to six-inch ducks inside the living room for true perimeter heating. You live on the edges of the fifth wheel and that’s why we position these ducts on the perimeter of your floor. We then offer another six-inch heat duct for the bedroom, and place our last heat register on the very front of the king bed in the front wardrobe. Each bath has a dedicated duct as well and not just the register open the basement. Finally the 5th heat duct is run through the tank area, and extends directly behind the copper water manifold and outside service center. When your furnace is on we are forcing heat into this area keeping you from freezing up. In the summer rest assured your DRV AC system will completely cool the coach to your desired temperature. We use a high-end Penguin low Pro air conditioner that distributes the cool air through the insulated ducting on the roof. We wrap the air conditioner with wool insulation that helps eliminate the noise inside the coach. In order to achieve a full central air system in our fifth wheel, we use a high-end soft touch ceiling. This padded ceiling absorbs any extra noise created by the air conditioning unit so our customers are not fighting that noise inside their fifth wheel. These residential systems are what allow DRV products to withstand all climate conditions to keep our customers comfortable on their travels.

DRV Frames, Axles, Tires and Brakes
Build your house upon the rock a foundation is the most important asset to any home in DRV delivers the strongest frame with the most steel in the fifth wheel market. Our triple box channel tube frame sits 101 inches wide with triple steel and forced tubs running the entire length of the chassis. Inside the main body of the frame it is layered with high density wool insulation and all working parts are secured inside keeping it safe from the road and whether corrosion. As we move forward large 8 inch vertical steel columns and steel tube cross members secure the upper deck and allow for the industry's largest storage compartment. Thick steel angle gooseneck supports eliminate all stress points in the frame and no expansion joints are needed. Our frame is a true foundation for full-time use, underneath we use the safest and most commercial grade equipment we can protect your home while traveling. Low maintenance and safety are our biggest concerns and this is why we equip every unit with large 8000-pound axles with oil bathtubs in Goodyear 17.5 H rated tires. We can't control the road but we can control how your home handles them. Automotive style disc brakes ensure quick and safe stopping power when you need it with faster reaction times than conventional electric brakes your DRV will react quicker an offer much shorter stopping distances with these disc brakes. You cannot put a price tag on safety so go with the best at all this comes standard on DRV suites.

DRV Floor, Copper Manifold and Hydraulics
It is important to use industrial components throughout our fifth wheel that offer industry-leading features that make our fifth wheel stand the test of time. Our commercial hydraulic system offers many features each hydraulic line is custom cut to fit each individual floor plan we offer. And they are home run feeds from the pump to the end location leaving zero T’s or fittings inside the floor. The longevity of our hydraulic system will allow our customers to use their coach for years without the pain of replacing motors down the road. With level up the coaches surrounded with six large steel-cased pin less hydraulic jacks capable of lifting the entire coach off the ground with the push of one button. Each Jack is uniquely designed with a 5° outboard angle that dramatically increases the side to side stability inside the coach giving at the solid field you need to live comfortably inside. Inside the box tube chassis we have designed several key features that make our fifth wheels work just like your home. To be residential you have to provide amenities that make sense work easy and eliminate maintenance. Our special tank location design does just that by placing our black holding tank 8 inches directly below the commode. This creates a straight drop into the holding tank eliminating any tank build up with the downward slope of the tank and the power flush everything quickly moves through the tank and outside the coach. Next to the holding tanks is our exclusive residential copper manifold with brass fittings attached to every PEX waterline we have created individual shut off valves for every water source inside. This system allows for equal water pressure throughout and the ability to isolate any wet area inside if you experience a leak. Each PEX waterline is color-coded for hot and cold and again allows us to run a direct line from the manifold directly to the wet area without having any T’s inside the frame underbelly.

DRV Fit and Finish
Step inside a DRV product and you will find some of the best woodworking in the industry. We achieve this detail by installing the finest wood products we can find. And by taking our time installing them inside the fifth wheel. Every DRV offers full-face cabinet doors residential hidden hinges. This eliminates a lot of the exposed styles you see in most RVs and gives the interior a more residential look. Around each window you will see a recessed wooden windowsill that is exclusive to our product. We do this to finish off the thicker wall, and it allows us to recess back all the window shades so they don't interrupt the living space and can provide better privacy. Each DRV is also finished off with cold molding and baseboard around the perimeter that provides a more finished look. It’s the attention to detail that our product offers that fully helps separate us from the competition. Another residential trend is the soft closed for feature that we added in your cabinetry design. This feature gets rid of all those travel latches inside the drawer, or the ability to slam the doors back in the cabinets. To build quality you have to take your time and ensure that every piece is cut and finish properly. DRV spends hours doing this and every unit on our production line.

DRV Cabinet Shop
There are many different ways to build cabinets but when you use high-end materials in residential construction methods you can create beautiful long-lasting cabinetry that can handle full-time use. Our in-house cabinet shop uses a great combination of techniques that create strong beautiful cabinetry designs with a solid Amish handcrafted touch. All are hardwood cabinetry is put together using a residential pocket drill and screwed construction technique and no staples. Having the ability to custom make all are cabinetry allows us to customize these pieces to accommodate each customer's specific needs. Our residential grade high polished Corian or quartz countertops surround all our kitchens and baths.
