Dealer to buy my 2015 DRV

Any recommendations for a dealer to buy my DRV? Any other suggestions?

Yep! Don't!
Sell it yourself. Most all dealers will offer pennies on the dollar & then try to sell it for full book value.
Even consignment places will ask what you want then add 10% or more & they keep all over & above what you want plus any percentage they may charge.
List for a fair & reasonable price & keep all the $$.

RV Trader

Look at others just like what you have. Don't be to proud and try to sell for what you think is worth. Find the real book value and selling from others and sell lower if you wish to sell right away or if you have time price right where it fits. You may or may not make money based on what you paid for it, but that ain't the goal. The goal is to get more than what a Dealer will pay you.

Just be very very cautious using CL, that site is full of scammers.

Dealers talk crap until you get there then it becomes s**t. If you just need to dump it quick, let them steal it from you. If you have the time, sell it on your own. Dealers will tell you, once you get it there, they can get so much more for you if you'll let them consign it to them. Then, they'll mark the price up and use it to sell new ones against it. They just want to be the one to sell it...not buy it.

If they offer you a price with which you are comfortable then jump on it. They are in it for profit so obviously they won’t pay full retail. Sometimes easy and quick is worth it and in today’s economy it can be difficult to arrange a secure private sale except for cash.

This was my thoughts as well. If you really need to move it, then taking less is a consideration. Also, the dealer has better access to financing for the new owner and they do all the paperwork.

Never used a Dealer to finance anything, that is a non issue to me. Selling your self will net you the most $$$ by far.

I agree with you but some people don't care about the money, don't have the time or expertise to sell on their own, I get that too.

The OP was asking for recommendations so all answers fit.

I will say this though, there are hundreds of scammers on AutoTrader. I have a motorcycle listed their now for about a month and 95% of all of the inquiries is a clever scheme or scam where someone is legitimately trying to buy but intend to rip you off by cleverly sending you an overpayment on their check that you cash and then you try to return the difference to pay moving company that picks up vehicle; but their check bounces 4 days later!!! almost lost $2,400 before I figured it out and put a stop on my payment.

PPL I. Texas too. It’s all they do is consignments and purchase. I’d go with consignment as you’ll do better and still have most of the advantages of a dealer.

I did recently learn that RR takes consignments. Thanks.
I am thinking that consigning with a well known dealer can help to get the rig sold at good price for me.

Just negotiate a maximum price they will ask for it. Your 1st goal is to sell it...2nd goal is to get as much as you reasonably can. Study NADA values and stay near them. As mentioned earlier, dealers will mark it high and use it to sell new ones against it. Most people buy on payments and a new unit gets longer terms which result in lower payments...plus they get warranty. Price it like the Deal of the Century an give them a deadline to sell it or tell them you'll come get it.
