The end of the Elite Suite
Hello fellow DRV owners. I was out shopping around and looking at the 2021 Mobile Suites and the sales rep confirmed with his manager they had it on good athority DRV is going to eliminate the Elite suite line.
Has anyone else heard this news or just a rumor. I hope a rumor!

Why the hope?
How does it affect?
A salesman might tell you things to get you to buy the one on the lot.
I'd maybe fire him if he didn't make alluding mentions....

I was told by dealer that the Elite is now a package that adds some options.

I reached out to the Queen of DRV and she said that she suggested doing that a couple of years ago. I think she said that DRV only sells a hand full of them a year. You can option a lot of the Elite upgrades on the Mobile anyways.

I refer to our 16 MS as "Highly Elited" as we ordered many of the Elite options. To be honest the Elite package at the time was a bit Gaudy.

We are in the process of ordering a new unit for spring delivery. You can no longer option ANY of the Elite options. They have made changes to the interior such as color and fabrics and eliminated carpet almost completely. It is now an option. A few new paint designs. Only outside changes appear to be a new front and rear cap design.

And I liked them. Hoover would not let me add to the order, and at the time I did not like the elite colors.
But, I had not seen them on a 39DBRS3, so not sure if I would like them on that model due to the wheel opening placement. I’ll have to let Alicia know she can’t order them.
Would also be disappointing to not get the Elite roof. The roof was a key in ordering the DRV over others.

January 2015 placing our order with Alicia she did not recommend the Elite roof or the electric stairs. Sounds like times have changed.

Was the roof still 2 piece then?
Our 2019 is one piece.

Well in at least 2015 and up they were a one piece. At least that is what DRV advertised.

No idea they were having issues so I chose the rubber and I am fine with that. For RV's with rubber roofs and no issues other than poking some holes in current DRV. OOPS

I never heard that they were having issues.
Plus the rubber roofs are lighter, have a better warranty and less maintenance. Oh and not to mention not an additional charge.
