8k MorRyde IS bearing dust cap

Someone found these caps in billet aluminum vs the plastic caps. Again, these are for the 8k axles.

Purdee, but the clear have been trouble free. THE FACT is the caps are designed to be used with the oil bath system. So did they come up with a way to see the gear lube level thru the aluminum to determine proper level at the line on the cap just outside the fill plug?

So basically I walk around my RV doing a pre road check. With those beauties I would have to pull each plug and try to determine if the lube inside aligned with the fill line outside.

Another "COOL" waste of money!!!

Ill go out on a limb and suggest that the billet cap is not the best product for oil bath hubs. They could be great for greased hubs. I will keep the caps I have.

UH, Yea! Kinda stupid to actually machine the oil fill line onto them.

The clear have been 100% trouble free.

If you want to spend some $$$ and have the caps actually be useful these will do the job.
