Ford F-350 TPMS Monitor

I have TPMS monitors from Ford I would like to install on my DRV. The problem is the Valve stem is too small for the port holes on the wheels. I need a .625 inch replacement metal valve stem (to handle 125 PSI ) to convert the sensors to. I have search to no avail. I did a mod using rubber snap in’s valve stems but not comfortable using it because I don’t think it will handle 125 PSI. Any ideas?

Not really clear 100% on what you are trying to accomplish.
They make systems for monitoring the 5vers tires as well as you truck tires in one screen. https://www.amazon.com/TireMinder-Tr...71699381&psc=1
I agree with you that I would not trust a rubber stem at the high pressures that our trailers run at.
Even if you are able to install Fords TP sensors in the 5vers tires. How do you plan on reading them, seeing them on a display? Are you planning on rewriting the eco and software to be able to display everything?

Are you sure the Ford TPMS will communicate with the additional sensors and how will the system react when the additional sensors are not within range?

I guess I should have been more clear. The 2017 and later Ford F-350 supports TPMS monitoring for trailers. It does this by shipping with the truck 4 additional TPMS monitors for the truck if you purchase the TPMS trailer package. The screen has the additional software to monitor the trailer tires and report on the truck screen. They also supply a module that attaches to the trailer to read the tires. DRV will install the module for you if you ship it to them prior to build of your RV. THE MODULE has a wired TPMS & Wired reverse camera both of which were installed by DRV during construction. I now have two plugs exiting my pin box whic I plug into my truck.

Ford sells a system specifically for that only available when ordering a new truck. The module is not available after market.

Here is the link to the kit you send to DRV which requires a pre installed software module by FORD when ordering the truck.

Nice. That sounds like a GREAT feature. What a shame that they did not think it through and set it up properly. I mean a F350 can tow what, 30k? Either way the tires on trailers like that would be running over 100 psi and they did not engineer it that way. Come on FORD.

Finally found the solution. The link below shows the valve stem to purchase.

Nice!
When you get it all done, you should do a write up on it so all of the other Ford owners can do it much easier then it took you.

Did you buy these yet?

If so, are they all brass except for the stem? Magnet test?

The valve stems on the trailer wheels are starting to rust.

Yes I bought them and transferred the sensor to the new stems. The stems are aluminum and therefore should not rust.

It’s the thin washers that are rusting on mine.

I have purchased parts from this group. I did the valve stems and the Bed adapter for the hardwired camera. They do very nice work.

I had forgotten about this company. I had used them in the past to get the modified bed plug for the camera. Ford is now installing it by default in the 2020 models. I see they carry everything I would have needed to solve my TPMS problem. Thanks
