Ordered the same fan in white. Installed yesterday and it does move the air.

Looks like another purchase - the factory ceiling fan really does nothing.

I need to recheck the distance between the two slides when closed. Not sure if I have enough room!

I’m moving to a different location next weekend and will give you feedback on how the traveling went. If I had a GoPro I would mount it on the counter and record the move.

Ryan, my first attempt at posting photos, so here goes. Thank you for all of your posts. I like to use the forums for new ideas, many of which I have incorporated. John

Love to see photos with ideas like this one, the fan that came with our new rig was useless so we bought this one too, nice find...
We used to belong to a very active forum for another rig we recently sold after 4 years and just purchased a new Mobile Suites Aire. Unfortunately we have not found very many current posts on mods, upgrades or daily issues folks face with the brand or much of anything posted by DRV owners on any of the forums...please keep them coming! Thanks!

I have never seen white cabinets in a DRV. Nice!

Great job getting them posted. Nice, I have never seen white cabinets in a DRV. If you do not mind, I am going to copy your pic and post it in the first post so people can see the different colors.
I can not place it in my post as the admin has the switch off to allow you to edit posts that are so many days/hours old. I have a PM sent to them.

OK, so with the fan hanging lower, how is the "pendulum" effect handled? I would be afraid of the blades contacting the living room slide in a turn or over uneven ground. I look forward to a user report after towing.

I have followed this thread with interest, because I too want a better fan. I have a couple of ideas and want to do something before I pull out in a couple of weeks. Unless, I missed it, no one has posted a picture of the fan with the slides closed. Like cummins, my OE fan blades barely clear the top of the dinette slide. I realize that the new blades are only 28 inches, but how close are they to the to trim rail of the dinette slide? One of my ideas is to use a longer rod to hang below the slide ceiling. But then, there's the pendulum effect.

I believe that may be the answer for me. Longer down rod to miss the top of the slides when closed. This way, I could go with a larger fan to move more air. I really don't think you would have a problem with the fan swinging in a pendulum way. Wondering if anyone else has gone with the longer down rod?

I will post pics on Sunday of the fan with the slides closed. If I get worried about movement when traveling, I have a few ideas head.
