Think about having a sunburn and peeling off your skin. Literally this is what is happening to our furniture.

It's NOT Leather nor was it sold as.

New furniture

The most comfortable chair we have ever had in a motorhome is a flexsteal euro lounger. All leather. Pricey. But worth ever penny!

Our sofa and captain chairs are beginning to look like this. We are considering having everything reupholstered. Has anyone gone this route?

Now we're getting down to business!
Tiffin has stated that the chairs we want can be purchased and installed in our RV. As luck would have it: they can even get the right color, to match the other furniture that our RV has.
...And the dealer has even chimed-in, and said that they can do the work for us!

Now comes the "Sticky" part...

What do you do with the old furniture (in this case: a coach); that is being taken out?

Does it just get put in the attic of your house or garage, and left for the archaeologist who fins it?

Stick it out at the curb...someone will want it, or appreciate the resting place.

Back in the '60s and 70's it was called Naugahyde, then came Pleather, then whatever this thin vinyl crap is.
In the marine world, we had really good luck with a material called Ulta-Leather. It's as expensive as real leather but is more sun/UV resistant. The stuff we used was 3-4000 rub resistance material.

We do not need a sleeper sofa so that make it a little easier.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

Check out shop4seats.com. We just finished replacing out captains chairs and sofa sleeper with a Theather like seat option

We don't have sidewalks or curbs around here.

OK, just drive to nearest rest area with a dumpster--leave it there, others do....or take it to downtown Portland for the homeless. There is a big need for such items, as we don't want them to be uncomfortable.

Hmmm... Portland you say...
3000 miles to help the homeless...
If I did that: the Missus would make sure that I joined them!

New love seat delivery guy took mine. I made sure that was part of the deal.

Mine will be shipped to the Dealer for the installation chores.
I guess I'll have to see if they can use it in their lobby...
