"DRV stopped doing the Frenched in rear side lights and now uses a high mounted LED, which works pretty good"

Not sure what you are referring to. Just looked at several 2019 and 2020 DRV's and the back cap lighting looks the same as mine.

Look closer, same big old round lights but they are no longer “frenched” in, angled towards the rear.

Just slapped on the side and a new nice and bright LED is added to the rear cap for backing.

Spent a good bit of time over at Utility 2 days ago. Setting the stage for the next truck. They are a bit busy then past years, 16 weeks out now for a build.

And no builders guides yet from Ford, so really can’t have the bed built in advance of an order. Same with suspension.

Did you get the light bar? Not sure with the ford application if there is sufficient clearance for a 90 degree turn with the light bar in place. But since the bar is a bolt on the bed can be built prepped for the light bar and added post build is sufficient clearance.

Would like if you can post some pictures when you hook up the trailer. And if you get into a tight turn, same with pictures.

When I pull out of my driveway I have to make an approximate 150 degree turn and currently have clearance issues.

They are doing the modifications on my 3500 Ram. a real joy working with these folks. Having some really cool modifications done on the truck. Adding a 4 link 4 bag air suspension on the rear and 2 bags on the front. Onboard air compressor and storage tank to keep the rig's tires air up. Trailer saver hitch with 3 bags. Should have the truck back by the end of July. I will post updated photos when it returns. It was sad day when they picked up my truck.
4 bag rear suspension or 2 bags? I thought 4 bags was only on the 84” cab and chassis.

Did you opt for the manual or electronic controls?

Come up with a spare tire solution?

First update on my truck. the bed is on the way to the paint shop.
Yes I did get the light bar you can see it in the bed. This is what the 4 bag system looks like. It is a auto level system that fills the bags when weight is added to the truck. Click image for larger version

The Kelderman uses 3/4" air lines and 3 gallon ping tanks - ride should be great.

Build update

Well the suspension is complete. Take a look at the front airbag. Finishing the bed, 58 gal auxiliary fuel tank and installation of a EGT sensor and gauge. Completion date is scheduled for July 24.
The build date for our Houston is July 24. Is it fate that the truck completion date is the same date as when our rig goes online?

Do you know if they use ping takes for the front bags?

Not sure if the front and rear systems are connected but they should be. They will use a common compressor and storage tank so I would think so.

If they did there would be separate tanks. The rear bags use a 3 gallon tank on each side. The ping tanks are supposed to make the ride even softer.

Did you opt for the electronic controls or the basic auto level using the standard HCV's (height control valves)?

Is your truck deleted? Curious WHY you had an ETG system installed?

The electronic is a bit pricey. Hard to find the value in it. Might be novel in the beginning, but after awhile you'll just use the basic settings. Kind of like a sleep number bed.

My plan will be to use that money towards adding the front air.

Have not deleted my truck. Just want to watch temperature when towing heavy in the mountains.
