New 38 rssa

We just picked up our new 38 rasa last week. I have a few questions since getting it home. 1) I ordered the 2 inch risers, how do I know that they were installed? 2) my rear set of dimmer lights don't seem to go all the way off, they glow even with the switch off. 3) my rear temperature for my air unit isn't reading correct, any way to adjust or fix? Thank you !

To check for the risers, you will have to look behind the wheels at the frame--there will be an added square tubing between the frame of the trailer and the MorRyde mounts. That is about the only way to know for sure.
Not sure about the lights--if you are talking about the bedroom lights, ours go out. There maybe is a 'click' when you turn the knob all the way?
When you say the rear air temp reading isn't correct--how do you know that? You have a secondary thermometer in the room--or are you talking about the readout on the thermostat? Not sure if the new thermostats are the same as the ones in our '15...

For resale it's good you have the risers but you DON'T need them with the 16 and earlier Ford's.

Risers being added to our RV.

I'm glad I got them, I have a 15 f350 4x4 and it would have been not level if I wouldn't have!

I am guessing you run air bags with the rear of truck elevated to make it set as it does unhitched?

Good points.

1) Agreed. You should see the square tubing welded to the frame between the MR suspension components.

2) We were parked across from a couple in CA that had a new '18 MS RSSA that had some issues with the dimmers also. Theirs similarly flickered and would come on in the middle of the night until replaced. Warranty sent them out and he self serviced.

3) I'm also wondering how you are gauging the accuracy of your Thermostat set points? The actual thermister (sensor zone 1) is most likely on the wall left over the stairs (left of the bathroom door) It could very well be influenced by sun light, draft. etc. RV temps tend to vary some from area to area. Insure your ceiling discharge vents are aimed as not to blow on them directly. The one for zone 2 is in the bedroom near the ceiling on the wall (behind the bathroom medicine cabinet).

Hey, congrats on the new coach. Enjoy!
