Hitch

I have yet to buy a fifth wheel hitch for the 41RSSB4 and would appreciate any feedback. I also thought I would install the trailer saver hitch I believe it is called. I will have the Ford F450

It would be nice to have an air hitch either in the truck or an air bag hitch on the fifth wheel (trail air I think is what DRV uses) You do not need both. Trailer saver makes a excellent truck air bag hitch.

I run a Trailersaver on my current truck. I also had a Trail Air on our prior 5th wheel with a B&W Companion hitch. The old combo was good but still had some chucking over the rough bumps.

The Trailersaver hitch with a MorRyde pin box has all but eliminated those issues. The hitch weighs about 5 times what the B&W did, and with the third airbag added, has a 7,500 pound pin weight capacity and a trailer weight limit of 32,000 pounds. I don't think I will ever have to worry about it....

I love our air hitch. I destroyed a Pull rite with my Teton. It is made by Hitch Crafters in NC. They will also custom build you one and no extra charge.

Rookie mistake...
I should have scrolled down the pages & would have seen this thread.
Georgia Hybrid, do you think it's worth the extra expense?
