Door problem

Look closer at MY PICTURE and you will see picture is rotated, this forum does that to pictures uploaded. The door opens to the side, not up.
Adjustment is made at the slotted hinges in this example. There is no other way. Period.

Hi All, just found this thread since I've been having same issue. My doors are like sportcoupe's, see below photos. They have 2 linkage assemblies top and bottom. There are no standard "hinges" on the door. The links are riveted together and are now jiggly and loose. The door rubs hard on the bottom sill when closing. I can't figure out how to tighten the links other than re-squeezing the rivets or drilling out and using low-profile screws.
The other issue is how to adjust the door angle, since it's drooping. The linkage mounts to the door with 4 screws: 2 in slots (adjustable), and 2 in holes (non-adjustable). The 2 middle ones cannot be adjusted unless a new hole is drilled, so no way to do a "slight" adjustment that I can see. Any ideas?

I have the same problem with a storage door like the above post. Is there any adjustment?

If you remove the screws from my hinge, the whole door comes off.

It is finally obvious that 2 Yung Still and sportcoupe have two different hinge systems. It is like comparing apples and oranges.

Right. I was thinking about just permanently removing the 2 center screws, leaving just the 2 outside screws in the slots so I can slide them to adjust the door angle.
Still doesn't solve the loose linkage arms though. May just need to accept it as is: not the best design.

Too bad there isn't a motor home specific page that would be helpful.

This is where we have issues on a brand specific thread when non owners interject.
SamABQ, I 100% agree.
DRV's have NOTHING like the side hinge doors shown.

Understood now. This thread popped up in my weekly "Thor Forums" email, so I clicked the link, which did not indicate it was within the Thor-owned DRV section. Now that I look at the tiny letters in the website header, I can see this is within the DRV sub-forum, so I'll look for that in the future.
Thanks for the correction.

Nice to have the activity but unfortunately it gets confusing talking apples and oranges.

I haven't checked back for awhile, and it looks like there is still no answer.

That tip will move the door over.
It will also help a bit if the sloppy door installer racked the frame when installing. Which isn’t to hard to correct if caught before full body paint.

Ah yes, you are right. And it would surely be an easy fix if it were not for the full body paint.

So today I pulled out the two screws, slid the door over a little, and put the screws back in. It's still not square in the opening, that would actually require removing and reinstalling the frame, but at least it doesn't rub on one side.
